Now I see a trend here, it's just every Brit telling us that G-Star is shite and twats wear it. I think G-Star need to do some PR on your island guys :lol

I think like 10/11 - but that's including actual shoes, trainers, hi-tops, low-tops.

It's quite alot I will admit and I hoard, I need to throw some away.

But 30 pairs of jeans. That's mental.

It's not that mental. I used to buy a new pair every 2 or 3 months, and it went on for a good handful of years. There's something special about denim, but I don't expect others to get into it like I do. I never felt like I had more than I need, since every pair is unique (to me).

10/11 is a lot of shoes, though.

I have around the same. 8 pairs of dress shoes and a few casual.

The thing with jeans is that they last long. So when you buy them every few months for a time you'll end up with a lot of jeans :p

Yeah, you can wear the same pair and if they're good quality, they just get better and better the longer you wear them. I haven't bought any in a long time because I don't need any more at this point, but I would like to get started on breaking in a new pair.

It's not a "thing" for me though. I don't buy them just because I wanna wear them all, I just like them as objects, not only clothing. Even if I only wear a specific pair once a month or less, I still like having them because it usually involves me chatting with the designer in their flagship store, seeing how they're made, watching the looms work and getting them hemmed and chain-stitched to my specifications.

I've also been to the factories and when I lived in the states I set up my own vat of indigo in my basement to dye stuff like t-shirts and fleece hoodies (can't do jeans, I hate garment dyed jeans).

Definitely. I don't get that brand. People over here pay like 800 euro's for some coat which doesn't even seem special to me because it's Stone Island. What the fuck is so special about Stone Island?
It's a bit of a hooligan brand. You wear it to the match and people think you're hard as nails.

Regarding jean-gate I just buy a pair of slim Levi's, overwear them until the crotch gives way, and repeat the process.

It's funny how brands are seen such different in our respective countries. Over here people with too much money to spend buy Stone Island clothing because it's supposed cool. Rich kids mostly wear these coats/jackets.

Yup, I always say I want to try another more expensive brand, but I just can't pass up 50-60$ Levis in all sorts of cuts and fits.
I bought a pair of 7 For all Mankind for $100 at Nordstrom Rack and love them. Felt weird spending that much but it's been worth it.

I wear some black Deisel shoes from there that were only $60. I've got some Deisel boots I spent a lot more on but I rarely wear them for some reason. I like my shoe collection a lot. A nice mix in brands and styles.

Not enough games on Saturday and the FA cup final should be played at the end of the season. Why play that game now?

Looking forward to the weekend results to see where we stand. Hopefully Villa and Stoke can help us out.

I remember thinking when they did, that they'd be there for the rest of the season and that United's lackluster performances would catch up with them.

:lol how wrong I was.
You and me both. I know I made a post suggesting as much when it happened. Stupid lack of goals..

Liverpool's home kit is the best PL kit in years.

Not the new one. It looks almost the same as United's 2012 home kit. Their away and 3rd kits are horrendous too.

Well it's all right, riding around in the breeze
Well it's all right, if you live the life you please
Well it's all right, doing the best you can
Well it's all right, as long as you lend a hand

You can sit around and wait for the phone to ring (End of the Line)
Waiting for someone to tell you everything (End of the Line)
Sit around and wonder what tomorrow will bring (End of the Line)
Maybe a Warrior Kit

Well it's all right, even if you're really wrong
Well it's all right, sometimes you gotta be strong
Well it's all right, As long as you got a table cloth to lay
Well it's all right, everyday is Judgment Day

Maybe somewhere down the road aways (End of the Line)
You'll think of me, wonder where I am these days (End of the Line)
Maybe somewhere down the road when somebody plays (End of the Line)
Purple haze

Well it's all right, even when push comes to shove
Well it's all right, if you got someone to love
Well it's all right, everything'll work out fine
Well it's all right, we're going to the end of the line

Don't have to be ashamed of the car I drive (End of the Line)
I'm glad to be here, happy to be alive (End of the Line)
It don't matter if you're by my side (End of the Line)
I'm satisfied

Well it's all right, even if you're old and gray
Well it's all right, you still got something to say
Well it's all right, remember to live and let live
Well it's all right, the best you can do is forgive

Well it's all right, riding around in the breeze
Well it's all right, if you live the life you please
Well it's all right, even if the sun don't shine
Well it's all right, we're going to the end of the line

Was going to change the lyrics but fuck that. I don't have time for that. It's all right Wilbur, Nike is here to stay.

Heh.

Just large thighs. Fucking sport.

Same for me. Swimming and cycling from an early age has given me massive thighs and a large chest. Even though I'm in good shape I have to buy fitted shirts and pants. Only off the hanger XXL shirts actually fit my chest, but the rest remains really baggy and looks ridiculous. I can't even get most pairs of jeans past my thighs, so I wear tailored pants or cargo pants etc. I don't even understand how skinny jeans are possible.

Fucking sport.

Fuck Nike. Boring shit kits all the time.

Haha I didn't even consider that you were named after the Travelling Wilburys. You marvellous cunt.

Needed a Bob Dylan reference that wasn't overly obvious. Scoreeeeeee.

You must leave now, take what you need, you think will last
But whatever you wish to keep, you better grab it fast
Yonder stands poor Ando with his buns
Sweating like a fatboy in the sun
Look out the Saints are comin' through
And it's all over now, Baby Roo.
