Why are Manchester United finding it so hard to sign players?

Might as well let Bayern keep the bloody thing.

the UCL trophy? no
when is our turn then?

I feel bad for Lewandowski that the Balon D’Or was cancelled this year. He deserves it.

Yes I have to agree and I feel they shouldn't have canceled it but they didn't wait to see how things settle and just canceled it shortly after the french league was canceled while the majority of the other leagues did continue after all.

It’s a French award so I can get the logic of them shelving it for a year if there wasn’t a full season of French football. Just a pity for Lewandowski because he’s not exactly at the beginning of his career and may not get another season like that again.

Yes but the award is global so it shouldn't be canceled for one or two leagues.

Sure, but I can get them going by the French league since they are French. Also, if it is a global award then I can see the case that it's not fair on some players who through no fault of their own didn't get a full season like others. I don't necessarily agree with it but I can see the thought process there.

I do understand it but I think there is some negatives either way so since that is the case for me going a head and awarding it is less of a mess than canceling it looking at how things went in the end.

Man City stays grabbing easy groups.

C: City > Marseille > Porto > Olympiacos
D: Liverpool > Atalanta > Ajax > Midtjylland
E: Chelsea > Sevilla > Rennes > Krasnodar
F: Dortmund > Lazio > Zenit > Brugge
G: Juve > Barca > Kyiv > Ferencvaros
H: PSG > Leipzig > Man U > Basaksehir

You predict that Sevilla pass on the 3rd spot to go to the EL? :pie_thinking:

[AS] In seven years at Chelsea, Eden Hazard missed 20 games. He has missed 23 games since joining Real Madrid for €100 million in 2019.

Everton keep on rolling. Man are we on fire! So good.

But the highlight of the match (surely for any neutral) was that Bissouma strike at the end. Sublime.

Manchester United are having a nightmare today.

tryDEATH tryDEATH tell us how you feel?

I had to change my pants multiple times, that was simply to erotic. United got skull banged especially after another one of those sh*t penalty calls with in 30 second of the game.

We are just tuned in right now Kane and Son are just telepathic at this point and I genuinely believe this is the best attacking pairing in world football. I can't imagine what its going to look like once you add Bale to this combo we are going to be a nightmare for teams to play against. At this point only Liverpool is better than us and we are on par with City.

Also so many people are overlooking that we literally played 4 games in 7 days. We didn't show any fatigue or lack of commitment in a situation that has never happened before the boys and Mourinho should get a huge amount of credit for pulling this off. Especially the way we dropped points on Sunday to that pathetic handball, we just battled on and got the results we wanted.

If the team clicked I don't think it is wise to disturb it with Bale just yet, maybe if someone get injured because you want to milk as many results out of this exact team as possible.

Also Manchester United might panic and splash the cash with a panic buy in the nick of time before the transfer window close :pie_thinking:

Bale comes in for Lamela or Lucas, which he is a huge upgrade on and one we have to make right away. Lucas rarely ever scores/assists and same for Lamela. Bale is a huge goal scoring threat that we even further free up more space for the RB and even Kane.

If he is match ready certainly go for it and see how it goes but I have a feeling the way you actually will be changed although you don't need to.

It hurts for United to take loses like these but I’m hoping it gives them the kick up the arse they need to finally sort out the organisation of the club. It seems like opinion is turning against the Glazers more and more. Ex-United pundits like Neville had actually gone pretty easy on them before but are now starting to ask serious questions about how things are done. The club being publicly shamed like that might be the only hope we as fans have for change to come about.
