It's disgusting, but he probably isn't the last pervert out there in the world. There's probably many more in hiding.
I had his name attached with the brand. When I lived in a small town everyone went to Subway. Everyone cared about their health, so Subway was huge. The thing was, I was going there for college. Right down the road from where I was attending was the state's Regional Center, which is a Step 1 Sex Offender facility. It's basically where sex offenders go to after prison. It's locked down and everything. We took a tour of the place. I was in nursing school and got to listen to their group discussions and other stuff. It made me pretty disgusted for a while. You'd hear about what they did, how they were raised, and how they felt about it. Some dressed up to look younger, some were in there with their parents, and it just made you feel like you lived in a dark world.
Sure, this is terrible. The good news is that they caught them. He could have continued to make money and commit more crimes if he wasn't caught. It might make someone feel a bit uncomfortable walking into Subway because society doesn't set a good example all the time. We sometimes have to set that good example. I would not boycott them either.
The thing is, I knew people when I was a teen who'd date young girls. I didn't think anything of it at the time. I always thought it was sick and my girlfriend and I thought the same thing at the time. It's even worse when you're an adult and you hear about it.
