His wife is also divorcing him.
He's got "spokesman" money and fame, not "Brad Pitt" money and fame.
They sent Snipes to a regular federal medium-security for taxes- Jared is going to regular prison.

Won't apologise for giving him the benefit of the doubt, though. Innocent until proven guilty is the cornerstone of the criminal law.
But christ, openly asking escorts to find him 14-15 year old girls? Was he fucking brain-dead? And it looks like his associate was sharing pics of younger children with him too.
I don't wish any violence against him in jail but so long and good riddance.

I hope he gets taken to Civil Court on top of this, because even after the $1.4 million in payments and the divorce - he's probably going to still be sitting on millions. It's stomach turning to realize that this sick fuck could potentially live a financially sound life after serving his time.
When dealing with accusations of this magnitude that can wreck a person's reputation I prefer to let it play out rather than risk being wrong. 'Where there's smoke there's fire' is dangerous because while it's often true, it isn't always.
I just got finished with dealing with a family member's trial where they were wrongly accused of something. It was white-collar stuff, so not as emotional or attracting the same vitriol, but to see people turn on them immediately once accused was upsetting. Those same people then act like nothing happened when the facts come out at trial and the judge puts the prosecution on blast for going after the wrong people after a full acquittal by jury.
Better safe than sorry. I need to know the facts before I make personal judgments.

Yeah I'm really curious as to where Subway goes from here. Yeah Jared is gone but so much of their marketing and catch phrases are linked to Jared in some way. Like he's hte first thing people think about when they think of Five Dollar Footlongs or $6 Selects or whatever they call it now. THey might have to completely rebrand, like change logos and shit.

Being famous or part of a famous case could have a number of consequences; MAYBE if it's good fame you are treated kindly... also possible you'll get the opposite.

In many (most?) states you can marry a 16 year old with her parents' permission. Completely legal, just slip them some cash and you're good.

This is a reason why corporations love to have mascots & cartoon characters as promoters. You don't have to worry about them ever being caught up in sex,drugs, or violence scandals. They are also much cheaper.

I had his name attached with the brand. When I lived in a small town everyone went to Subway. Everyone cared about their health, so Subway was huge. The thing was, I was going there for college. Right down the road from where I was attending was the state's Regional Center, which is a Step 1 Sex Offender facility. It's basically where sex offenders go to after prison. It's locked down and everything. We took a tour of the place. I was in nursing school and got to listen to their group discussions and other stuff. It made me pretty disgusted for a while. You'd hear about what they did, how they were raised, and how they felt about it. Some dressed up to look younger, some were in there with their parents, and it just made you feel like you lived in a dark world.
