OK, that definitely helps my understanding. Thanks.Gek54 said:When I use that method is creates a horrible dead zone in the center. Not a true dead zone but it reduces the input greatly, its not a better alternative.

Does it have that Lexus integrated reality thingy for iPad? Can you test it?Mascot said:This month's copy of the EVO collector's edition 163 dropped through my door this morning, with a very Autovista white warehouse-style photo of the new M5 on the cover. More than coincidence, it appears - there are several Forza 4 promotional features inside, along with a double-page ad.
Car lovers into gamers..?

Lovely cover. The qr code iPad ad is sweet. I'll be back with a link.Mascot said:Sorry mate, no idea what you are talking about..!
There's a feature on the rather gorgeous LFA Nurburgring Edition, but can't see any iPad thingumajigs.

Who is David and who Goliath in that metaphore?
And yes, OP should be changed. Whay don't opt for real-life game official motto, as for GT5?
Forza 4. Where Dreams are Driven. Clean, simple and non-intrusive in any way.

I know that feel, bro. It's a dick thing to do.
Shyeah. Though it's a bit generic, though... as in, they could've integrated it with the picture in the ad better than just having an overlay of the video (and the ignition button).Mascot said:Ha Haaaa..! Fuck, that is cool. Minority Report cool.
Mmm... nah, I prefer mine. There's a reference to Clarkson *and* IBL.Gek54 said:fixed?

Did he mention any sub movement?saladine1 said:Just received some impressions from a mate in W.A.
He is a sound nut like myself so he gave some details. Basically, he is BLOWN away by the sounds in the game. Apparently, not only does every exhaust 'stage' give off a different sound, but adding intake also changes the notes. Flames get bigger after each upgrade level, backfires, pops and clicks also change depending on upgrades.
Turbo spool, BOV/WGC are also different at each level. He noticed a completely different loop between a 'stage 3' Skyline turbo upgrade and 'stage 3' BMW 2002 turbo upgrade. The BMW had a slight flutter and wasn't very loud while the Skyline was very noticeable.
He has recognized about 5 different BOV samples so far. Each car is different which reminds me of PGR's system.
Adding 'stage 3' transmission yields straight cut gear whine that changes pitch at each gear which didn't really happen with FM3.
Ultimately though, he said that adding all those things together on a FORD KA no less, resulted in an absolute monster sound wise and has fallen in love with it!
Secondly, he mentions that in hood view, while racing at Hockenheim during the early morning, the reflections of the surroundings bounce off the hood so vividly that he hasn't seen anything like it. He really is banging on about the visuals.
He has hyped me even more now after the sound reveal as he knows that's one aspect I truly admire. I know that reviewers don't usually go into depth on these things but it's nice to finally hear the details. Me very happy boy!
He didn't mention it but I remember someone else saying that the settings can be adjusted in the final game..cjelly said:Did he mention any sub movement?
I didn't feel there was much oomph coming from my sub in the demo and I think someone else mentioned the same in the demo thread.

Might be spoilers for some, (not sure how that works with racing games but whatever), but it may help you plan your purchases accordingly. Then again, FM4 apparently throws credits at you constantly, so it may not be an issue.
