SarBear and I are going to make that one a staple for a while and we thought having a legit racing livery for it would be cool. Because they are incentivizing the purchase of the full packs or season pass. They've been stratifying the prices of the DLC cars according to their belief on marketability.
So, the "most desirable" car in the pack is only available there and the next few most wanted are higher priced, but available individually. Then the rest are the standard 160 price and one is free.
That seems a pretty fair deal for them and for the players.

One of the Ferrari 'challenge' cars would be great for a no-upgrades race (355/360/430/458). We can gift out copies to anyone too broke in Forza to buy one to put a livery on.

Maple Valley (long, non-reverse) would be a good one to try with full damage since the first corner is so long as to mitigate the risk of a total clusterfuck.

I would prefer if R3 was the fastest we raced for now.

With the amount of Cobras being sent out, is it reasonable to do a spec race out of those? I will have two with the VIP gift.

Yeah, the Rivals mode is just the easiest way for me to keep track of it all in once place and to be sure the car is stock and such. But you can send me a screenshot of your best time and I will put you in the rankings.

Yea, I'm usually only ever there to mess around. I like driving it quick and all, but I've never taken the time to learn to really be competitive on it, ya know?

Long course rocks anyways. The short circuit doesn't have the 'Schumacher esses' which is the best part of the track.

I am actually not too worried. Outside of a few people and some random events, the actual racing was pretty clean last time. Kaido will really test who is willing to wait until the right time to pass and who will just recklessly ram in wherever they want.

I mean, if you all are too SCARED then I understand. Just go get your apple juice, put on your pull ups and suck your thumbs while the rest of us actually race. The big kids want to have some fun!

kaido is soooo narrow, collisions with 16 cars is inevitable. while i'm not planning to purposely wreck anyone, its going to be a clusterfuck as long as cars are packed together and i will do what i can to get ahead of it before driving a bit more carefully. its just the way its going to be.

Oh man, the new "fixed" steering made recovering from losing rear end traction much much harder. I welcome the challenge , maybe I'll eventually get good at it, I keep over compensating for now which leads to massive fishtailing.

Its gonna be a race of attrition. Those who can avoid the melee of the first few corners and can limit any big mistakes will do well, even if they're not that quick.

Already got a time up there. Only did 2 passes, so there's loads of room for improvement. Hoping to use this bit of competition to help my chances this weekend.

For one, it doesn't change anybody's actions on track. In an ideal world, it would, but mistakes happen mostly from lack of experience and skill rather than a lack of fear of consequences.

Two, its just ONE lap. There's no chance to hit the pits and try and catch up afterwards or anything. If you get any serious damage in the first couple corners, you might as well just pull over and stop. Its much nicer being able to continue on, especially if you're the innocent party.

Quite the opposite. If I know I can pinch you in a corner and completely total your car (assuming your engine is in the front), why wouldn't I? I could always charge it to the game, apologize, and continue on with a damaged left panel while you're smokin on the sidelines.
