Different Rivals races have different rules. Some are spec-races.

Great races we just had, I jumped up around 3 levels from the xp.

Has anyone figured out how to switch between controller and speed wheel? It's getting really annoying not being able to tune... And wtf is with thinking the speed wheel is a fully fledged racing wheel when it reconnects after being powered down? Did they have ANY quality assurance on this!?

You don't have to pull batteries. All you have to do is hold down the "guide" button and then select turn off controller. The game will then prompt you to reconnect controller. When it does, you just power on the controller you want to use. Rinse and repeat.

Just cut my S2000's Infineon Raceway lap time down to a 1:51 from 1:54 by switching to an MR-S B-500 and tuning the suspension real quick. 1900 lb 190 bhp car is pretty damn quick, and kills in the corners... but dies on Infineon's straights. Hmm...

Ah, that's the problem with high-strung, high RPM cars like those two: you can change gearing , but it only goes so far. You eventually end up trading off top end for low end acceleration and vice versa. But I guess I could try to tune the first 3 gears for corners and see if I can find an acceptable compromise. :\

Look what just show up for me GAF!! I already take it for a test run and wow what a difference between this and the old crappy standard pedal. I can actually go at full speed!

I have to go figure out the brake setting later but so far it's just awesome.

On another note I got the LE from Microsoft but they didn't put in the pre-order code, I wonder if they will email those out like Amazon too. Anyone else got their code?

Did you get anywhere with this? This is my first wheel and pedals so I am a little unsure how it all works together lol

no idea, i don't shift that way. just cycle through and see if there is a mapping that has the shifting on the Dpad. if not, it might be just a matter of learning to shift with X and B. the controls are the same other than shifting with the paddles or with buttons.

it isn't perfect, but until there is a patch...

It just take getting used to the brake. The brake is different than the regular pedals that use potentiometer and detect the brake press by how far you pushing the lever down, load cells work by detecting the pressure you put on it, just like real car. So the more force you put on it the more brake get applied (just like real car). Once I realize how it works, it well just like driving real car. I will probably dial down the sensitivity after I am used to it.

The gas pedals is a bit too loose for my taste so I might adjust that, but so far the pedals work like a charm. Oh, one think I didn't realize is that this set doesn't support ABS brake vibration like the Clubsport version.

Now I am thinking about upgrading my wheel to the CSR Elite .. got to resist urge, already spending a fortune on Forza!

What setting are you using on the cell? I have it on 7 seems to give me a little better results now
