That's two extra sales for MS right thereEnron said:Yep. 2 copies of the LE, my original purchase refunded, AND a promo code for a free game.
I basically just got $200+ of game FOR NOTHING.
Nightz - send me a PM so i dont forget. I have some other people that are interested, ill contact you and let you know.
I got impatient and bought an LE at BB yesterday so i could start playing - so now I'll (briefly) have 3 copies, heh.
evil_as_skeletor said:This is just silly.
This means it is just a glorified leaderboard "best tuner wins" scenario, I thought rivals mode was an even playing field to test your racing might... Shame

Loved every minuite of it.
After the clear out 30 spots left in the club, To join search for GAF. I'll add you as soon as I can.
Agreed, had lots of fun and was glad to see everyone wasn't as uptight as I fearedGowans007 said:Awesome races tonight with GAF.

Isn't the liveries file separate from the profile one on the HDD? Sorry to hear man.regs said:My forza profile got corrupted somehow and I just lost ALL of my cars, credits and progress
I was only level 18 but I had some awesome liveries ;-;
dont want the noobs going off the first corner and selling the game!RomanticHeroX said:It's a minor thing, but starting the game with every assist on mandatory is the worst idea. If that was your first taste of a Forza game you'd just think the game controls like shit.
Aptos said:Has anyone figured out how to switch between controller and speed wheel? It's getting really annoying not being able to tune... And wtf is with thinking the speed wheel is a fully fledged racing wheel when it reconnects after being powered down? Did they have ANY quality assurance on this!?

jcutner said:update - still have 1 extra code for the BMW 1M - if someone wants to trade for the CR-Z?
received PM for an STi trade
holding out for the CR-Z, if not i'll go with that.
jedimike said:Where did you get the code? Best Buy didn't give me one when I picked up my game and said I would get an email. Well, I don't have an email either.
Try adjusting your gear ratios, maybe?BoobPhysics101 said:Just cut my S2000's Infineon Raceway lap time down to a 1:51 from 1:54 by switching to an MR-S B-500 and tuning the suspension real quick. 1900 lb 190 bhp car is pretty damn quick, and kills in the corners... but dies on Infineon's straights. Hmm...
/facepalmjedimike said:You don't have to pull batteries. All you have to do is hold down the "guide" button and then select turn off controller. The game will then prompt you to reconnect controller. When it does, you just power on the controller you want to use. Rinse and repeat.
jcutner said:i ordered through future shop (canada)
wound up with more copies than i needed (trying to plan ahead lol)
the one that arrived from the online order didn't come with a code, so i emailed them yesterday and i got it this morning.
(which means I have an extra LCE, but I imagine i'll just return it to FS)
in store however, they gave me
which is an empty case, just to have the DLC slipcode in there.

Look what just show up for me GAF!! I already take it for a test run and wow what a difference between this and the old crappy standard pedal. I can actually go at full speed!
I have to go figure out the brake setting later but so far it's just awesome.
On another note I got the LE from Microsoft but they didn't put in the pre-order code, I wonder if they will email those out like Amazon too. Anyone else got their code?

Aptos said:But then when you reconnect the speed wheel, the game thinks it's a regular wheel and the controls are messed up...
It should've gone off of your Xbox Live profile's presets.Xanadu said:dont want the noobs going off the first corner and selling the game!
AlanzTalon said:go into your controller settings, and set the wheel to type 5. it maps the buttons the same way the speed wheel is mapped (shifting with "X" and "B") and then you can use it. so even though it thinks you have a wheel, the Speed Wheel still works just fine. then you can switch them back and forth all you want, no problem.
Aptos said:What about up/down d-pad shifting?
VindictiveGnome said:Great races tonight! That loop was nuts.
sneaky77 said:Did you get anywhere with this? This is my first wheel and pedals so I am a little unsure how it all works together lol
antiquegamer said:It just take getting used to the brake. The brake is different than the regular pedals that use potentiometer and detect the brake press by how far you pushing the lever down, load cells work by detecting the pressure you put on it, just like real car. So the more force you put on it the more brake get applied (just like real car). Once I realize how it works, it well just like driving real car. I will probably dial down the sensitivity after I am used to it.
The gas pedals is a bit too loose for my taste so I might adjust that, but so far the pedals work like a charm. Oh, one think I didn't realize is that this set doesn't support ABS brake vibration like the Clubsport version.
Now I am thinking about upgrading my wheel to the CSR Elite .. got to resist urge, already spending a fortune on Forza!
antiquegamer said:.. got to resist urge, already spending a fortune on Forza!
Why stop at the CSR? Go all out, pick up the $500 model!MarleyManiac said:My bass player and I were discussing the Fanatec wheel this evening at band practice... I am trying to resist but I know "resistance is futile" - $550 out of the gate for the wheel/pedals/ and a wife friendly Rennsport Stand. There goes my beer budget
