- Extreme Track Toys (entirely asphalt, no offroad at all)

Do they ever make you offroad a supercar, for example?

I think you need to use the first car you pick for the first few races. The day one cars will become available once you reach the point in the story where you can buy cars at the car show.

I don't know why they didn't include the highway in the showcase events. Have a VW Beetle going slowly from one part of the map to another on the highway while you do the same offroad. Or have you race boats to the Nice harbor. Or a zeppelin. Or have some kind of rally super stage. But most of all where is my 1000 club content?

I haven't noticed this. Is it pulling the info from the hard drive? I use SSDs with both of my Xbox Ones for the games so load times are much faster.

Finally finished my first championship. Did it in 18 minutes in my KTM X Bow. Very fun. After the demo back in September I went ahead and bought a thrust master tx wheel and it has made the game so much more immersive. Never had a wheel, let alone one with force feedback so its been a new experience for me.

would love to have the train running through the whole world ala' Red Dead. :)

would make for some fun interactions during H2H races if it were to cross paths or just look cool in general

Start a sports car championship and you'll definitely see one. I've had like 3 championships where it was in every single race. Hoping to get my own soon.


Also, just had the weirdest de-synced race ever.

You'll notice that it's a B700 event, but an S2 LaFerrari rolls up to the line. It's solid during that cutscene, then ghosted the rest of the time. During other races it was spinning other people out but I went right through it. Whenever the race finished, the guy's name wasn't on the time board, but it was on the XP board with -448XP every race.

Weirdest part is that it was clearly a LaFerrari, and even listed as such in the leaderboard things, but it was performing as sluggish (in comparison to the Ferrari) as every other B700 car and didn't win a single race.

EDIT: Also, check out the sweet lucky dodge at 2:38 from the Subaru and RS3 spinning out.

Long delayed, only first-party driving game with reviews coming in far lower than the fans expected, and in comparison to the hype. Then the hyped driving fans who have had nothing but need for speed for a year, dove it, found it WAS indeed a racing game, galvanized themselves against the lukewarm reaction that critics had, and posted about how reviews were wrong. Filling 3 threads,with 3 times more posts than Forza threads. It's also a PS4 game on gaf. So. There it is.

It's more of a simcade. Handling is a bit more realistic and feels absolutely amazing.




You should just do it. Go buy an X1 for the game. Totally worth it.

If racing games are your bag, then is is definitely worth buying an xbox for.

My game is stuck on the game screen loading. Its not starting. What can i do? I started the game à bunch of times And restanted My Xbox 4 times.

So, after a long, stressful week with presentations, exams, homework and quizzes, it's finally Friday.

1 more hour till my laundry is done (god I hate dorm life sometimes) and then I'm going to sit my ass down, pop open a drank, get a strong buzz, and start racing around southern Italy.

I bought an Xbox One for this game and I don't regret it in the slightest. By far the best game of this gen so far.

This is probably the only true system seller so far imo, fanboy bullshit out of the way this is a game you buy a console to play, doesn't matter who the manufacturer is.

saying that, if you go out and buy an Xbox one you do open your options, halo MCC lands in under a month which will be the second system seller.

Couldn't agree more. Though I'd also throw Forza 5 in there for the full triumvirate.

Hello Forza GAF, today I played this game after borrowing it from the library and i was blown away. I generally have no interest in racing games (I previously had NFS Hot Pursuit and Most Wanted but got bored of them fast) but after playing 3 hours of this today, I'm hooked. That opening scene driving the Huracan set the tone perfectly and was really something special. I love the casual festival vibe given off in the game and i'm having a ton of fun just driving around the country side looking for races. The gameplay seems very accessible too and I think this is the first racing game to ever really click with me. May have to pick up a copy soon.

It's so much fun upgrading cars that have no business being supercars into supercars. Cruising down the freeway at 195 in my 1956 Ford F-100 is a blast.

Has anyone gotten to 45 championships yet? Is there a finale after every 15? I just got back to the festival after my 33rd and the dude was talking about another finale, but I thought I was done after the second and the credits rolling...

My game keeps freezing and crashing at the start up screen. I unplugged the Xbox and plugged it back in and it still does the same thing.

I think it was a sort of "ha, we'd need another one to dethrone you", but I canconfirm, I've done almost 60 and the second finale is the last.

I wish they'd made it an achievement or something for that to be done without rewind. Or even better if all the bucket lists had rewind disabled since it wouldn't affect the "story" at all. I'm happy to have done it without rewinds and enjoyed the time it took.

I'm really frustrated with this game and all of the cross country races right now. I'm not a car guy by any means so I know absolutely nothing when it comes to car customization or configuration. I'm in a muscle car race that has me driving in a cross country race. Let's just say, I have to go buy another controller now because mine is currently in pieces. How am I supposed to set up a SRT Viper GTS for cross country races? I really don't want to trade the game in, but I can go around breaking controllers because of a game. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It actually wasn't that difficult once you figure out that the best path through the trees at the start isn't the path the line suggests.

You should be ashamed of yourself. Turn that rewind shit off.
