Not suprsing, I knew a few of my mates who regularly game on Playstation, actually go out their way and buy an Xbox just to play Forza over the past couple of years, granted they were petrol heads but it does say a lot.

No doubt it's the best racing game currently out there.

It's such a strange game to me. I like the driving mechanics. I love the car selection. I love the map. I love the graphics. I even love the soundtrack.

There is just nothing tying it all together to make playing it satisfying. You have supercars immediately upon finishing the tutorial. I want a game like this where I am dicking around in a Honda Civic and putting a cold air intake on it to get +7 HP for a while and working my way up to the Ferraris and such. The progression feels meaningless as it is and getting yet another super car feels like nothing.

Makes sense being the part of the MS trinity now that Horizon is the bigger brand than plain Forza, I know a lot of guys wanting all the GeOW and Halo games on PlayStation as well and those will sell truckloads as well

I totally agree. The sense of progression and the reason to keep coming back isn't the same as the old gran turismo games. I used to love the old gran turismo on ps1 and getting the cars I actually owned in real life like an old crx or maxda rx-7 and fixing them up until they had like 700 horsepower and going to the time trial and seeing how fast I could do a lap and the 0-60 times. I haven't played a gt game since ps1 days. Is the newest one like the older ones in that aspect?
