Forza Motorsport 3 |OT|

Though a lot of good cars have made it through, a lot of the ones that I REALLY wanted through didn't :(. It'll still end up making for a great car pack, I just hope the guys at T10 take note of some of the cars that didn't. *Stares at Che*

Anyone else that got a free car from Turn 10 this morning? When I booted up F3 I had received a message from Turn 10 that said I had a free car to download :)
What a great way to start a day with :) Thanks Turn 10 =P

WTF ?

Who could possibly pick up this turd :

Me.

Just want to try it out. Looks like a narrow wheelbase and despite that you sit closer to the rear.

The car is smiling at me. Can't resist it's colgate smile.

I don't have the time to figure out this voting thing so I'm just gonna sit back and be happy with whatever people choose. I'd like to try the more unique handling cars but at this point I'm still worried about accumulating credits to buy all the cars I want to try out.

Is it just me or did the Lancer Evo5 cease to exist? It was in the R2 voting (and I voted for it) but it isn't listed with a vote count today.

Anyway, they made this too easy for me since only 16 of my 30 choices made it and 5 of my favorites are in the losers bracket.

R3-Winners
1973 BMW 2002 Turbo
1980 Lotus Esprit 2.2
1988 Pontiac Fiero GT
1999 BMW M5
1969 Pontiac GTO Judge
1970 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona
1977 Aston Martin V8 Vantage
1981 Volkswagen Scirocco S
1992 GMC Syclone
1994 Porsche 928 GTS
1955 Porsche 550A Spyder
1990 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16 Evo II
1990 Toyota Celica GT-Four ST185
1992 Ford Escort RS Cosworth
2002 BMW Z3 M Coupe

R3-Losers
1969 Chevrolet Nova SS
1996 Audi RS2 Avant
1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda
1986 Dodge Shelby Omni GLHS
1983 Volvo 242 Group A Homologation

BTW: There just needs to be a DLC pack of just the Aussie cars that didn't make it!

A bit disappointed with today's results, no RS2 or 300 SEL, the Hemi 'Cuda would've been cool too.

You're right, what happened to it? :lol I voted for it too.

I voted, but I'm not happy about the lack of Alfas or muscle cars. Che, will those cars show up in a future pack anyways?

Muscle cars I've had enough of, but I was deeply disheartened by the poll-death of the Alfas =( They weren't in FM1/2, we need tons in 3 to make up for that :lol

I want more muscle cars, too. There needs to be some more 'Cuda, Nova and Grand Torino love as well as more Alfa love.

I only get 5 votes! Sophie's Choice much?

So be it, these must get into the pack or this whole exercise was for naught!
86 Dodge Shelby Omni GLH-S - Because it was the first fast car I owned.
55 Porsche 550A Spyder - Because it is the epitome of provenance and it'll further piss off the GT fanboys for not getting Porsche onboard.
92 Ford Escort RS Cosworth - Because its the best Ford we don't have in the game and because hood vents and whale tails rock.
92 GMC Syclone - Because of Car and Driver, September 1991
99 BMW M5 - Because the E39 was the best looking M5 ever and the S62 engine was that damn good.

Disappointed by the lack of any Aussie muscle cars at all. Surely there's an insider who has a soft spot for them to put them in?

And how the hell did the Syclone win? Is it really that big over there in the US?

PS. Celica ST185, Lotus Esprit, WRX, 240Z and Starion.

From a german gaming forum. It's a pic of a Dev-Kit - so DLC are free and you'll get them earlier.

DLC will maybe next month...

Maybe that's what Che meant about news on DLC in tomorrows Pitpass.

Fingers crossed there is a car pack, as well. Don't wanna get too greedy, though. Really looking forward to the GP Circuit, loved it in the PGR games.

If theres any justice in this world, that car better not make the final 15.

It's a drift car. Forza appeals to more than just street metal and Porsche fans :lol

Watch it - the painters are going to try to get a cube van in there next, so they have a big canvas.

riced out gt3rsr?

So you think he riced it out by removing all the stickers and changing the wheels?

We must have different definitions of rice. When I hear that term, this is what I think:

It's the GT3 Flying lizard with a custom paint job. Would love to have something a bit more personal , but the car just looks too slick. Tuned to perfection also :)

I'm bummed about the lack of Novas, 'Cudas, Gran Torinos or GNX's, but I'll live.
