Man this nurb time trial is crazy hard, I still have not been able to hotlap a clean time either the first turn (trying to do it smoothly) or the Schumacher (i think thats what the turn is called) sends me in the dirt. argh. The top time is a million times faster than me, insane how much faster he is than me :lol

I was playing Virus Tag again tonight and managed to get to the end of a round without getting tagged, until an R8 came at me at 915 mph.
With default shutter speed, you can't even see my GT40. I was doing close to 90, so it was a 1000 mph hit to end the game! I had to save the replay to figure out what happened; I couldn't see it in real-time.
I have no idea how he bounced off a Lotus 2-Eleven at that speed...

Really neat story worth reading through, one of the forza community tuning teams SloPoke had the opportunity to create a livery in forza that would be recreated in real life. The car is on the floor at the chicago auto show. So awesome.

Best part is that the tune and livery are both free and fantastic.
Also. crap. I just read the Week in Review and it seem that doing the Time Trial is going to be the only way to get that T10 BMW M5 livery...

About to do a shoot on Nurb GT, any suggestions on what car to use? Too many to choose from.
Edit: shots of trucks with negative camber and dubs son! :lol Was trying to get a nice shot for the Camber photo competition but wasn't working so I started taking different shots.
Gaf: Photographers I took a bunch of pictures last night of a Mercedes CLK55 I tried to make it look like it does in the brochures, Im gonna mock a brochure together for fun (Im really bored today lol). It should be fun if anyone wants to get in on this just take some shots and post em/gift them to me.

Turn10 should let us choose how many spots of each item time we can have in our Storefront.
Eg, have a total of 50 slots, and you can choose how many slots for each item. I'd love to have more than 18 photos and don't care about the other storefront stuff.

Ones you sent me the other day looked a bit too saturated, likewise that vid of Nurb you posted the other day, have you managed to get it sorted so colours are looking a bit better or have you had to adjust the photos in FM3.

Just downloaded the Nurburgring GP pack, ran some laps on the full circuit, and man is it bumpy as hell. The balance of the car can really get upset in some corners and you better not be overzealous with the gas pedal.
I love the challenge of it, though. Makes me wish they could go back and redo the Nordschleife with this kind of surface irregularity.
Also, is it just me or is the GP track somewhat jaggier than the others? I mean, it's a fantastic looking venue and they've recreated some fantastic trackside ambiance with the crowd, banners and chopper, but the aliasing was the first thing that stood out to me.

I play mostly on my controller because of how much of a pain my wheel setup was (wierd area) and It works well. Its not as immersive but you can still be competitive. If you enjoyed forza 2 then ya pick it up. The storefront adds a ton if are not a painter/tuner etc.

Just got my Xbox back from repair centre, just in time to register a time on the Nurburgring TT for the two DLC gift cars! Downloading the track now, should be awesome!
When i put the disc in the console, and tried to play from hard drive, it said this game can only be played on the original xbox on which it was installed. So i had to delete Forza Disc 1 and reinstall. I was concerned it was going to delete the whole game, but it didnt, all my cars, designs, etc are still there.

Hmm, thats strange, the Nurburgring TT has closed! It says on the website:

I've posted a time on the standard circuit, i'll message someone at T10 and hopefully pick up the gift cars that way, but it shouldnt be closed already.
On the track itself, it is bumpy for sure, i think its a good thing. But there are quite a lot of jaggies on this track, must be something to do with the high contrast and the permanent white line on the edge of the track which does it... Still good track and well worth the purchase.

Can anyone point me in the direction of where it was announced? I can't remember seeing anything in this thread at all about it
