these details havent been spoken about yet which sucks..all interview questions have been about the casual stuff

the info draught itself wouldn't be too bad if it wasn't for the constant unofficial teasing and hinting at major stuff that has to be revealed.

I can assume the leaked trailer wasn't a leak at all, and T10 were well aware of the info and hints people would get from it.
But would it make sense for T10 to save big announcements for the month prior to release ? i guess since hype tends to fade..maybe....

My hype meter has gone down gradually since the leaked video, all this teasing and no-answers riddle game is tiring.
Cool new graphics and new features are nice but... having a few car names thrown out everyday (and without ingame pictures) is just a massive fail to me.

Bring back Che Chou and his Iphone screenshots!!!! Rofl.

Everybody thinks their own favorite stuff isn't getting enough attention.

Can't wait to try that Mach 1 out. A friend had one in high school with a 351W in it. :) Not terribly fast, but it was a hell of a lot of fun!

It's a different show (short interviews, no news), but when I compare the current US season 2 with the last two UK seasons, it definitely entertains me more than the UK version.

it's not bad, just different. more focused on the chalenges/shenanigans than on the hardcore reviews.

though this weeks segment on the CTS-V Wagon smoking a Ferrari was pretty damn good.

Yes, and I'm really enjoying it I must say. I actually quite like the hosts these days, they seem like they're having fun, and it's pretty much just challenges. I always skip through the cheap car segment though, that's not at all fun to watch in the US-version, great though it is in Top Gear UK.

The studio segments can still be pretty awkward, but they're pretty much non-existent in the second season. They are much more comfortable with each other during the challenges.

the NFS games had good smoke but they are 30fps games so they have power to spare, but nothing lingers that long in current games, i'd love to see that next gen.

Moto gp 1 on xbox had smoke which lasted like 10 seconds, could burn out in rings and flood a corner in smoke, people would crash lol :(

i actually prefer the earlier top gear seasons, they werent trying as hard to be funny, and it was more about cars

Tirewall branding not really and never understood why not.
Reflections, well is a question of resources and when you run out of them you have to find a way not to harm the overall performance of the game so you either tone down some features, which in my eyes is a bad move or you remove them completely. Missing resources are also the reason why we never saw the wallpainting return from FM1.

Pirelli happened. All tyres would have to have Pirelli branding.

I know it's not a major issue but sidewall branding is so fucking basic especially now that there's only one supplier.

I really missed wallpainting. It was one of the features that drew me into Forza in the first place..

Soundtrack should be ditched entirely because any normal racer will turn it off during gameplay and replays anyway. It would save a lot of disc space too. :D
Just have Lance Hayes' OST playing during menus and photo mode. :)

I hope wallpainting (an amazing detail back then) will comeback on the Xbox 720. Speaking of which, I know we've got Forza 4 around the corner but I seriously can't wait to see Forza 5/GT (6 or 7 ?) on nextgen. T10/PD are already outputing incredible stuff out of 5/6 years old hardware but they'll benefit massively from the new tech.

I'm sure it will be smoother than that. But the AA never bugged me in the Forza series, it's the lack of proper AF that has annoyed the hell out of me about the 360 all the way back to the launch of the system. ..which of course is not the Forza guys' fault.
