Another big question: what about interior shots this time around?

AMUSIX said:One last photo worry I have....camera placement. Are we still confined to an 8 foot height directly over the roadway? No spectator or aerial shots?

Bummer....wouldn't need to go too far away, but all too often, I found my camera backed up to the invisible wall...made shooting impossible on some of the more narrow stretches, especially on tracks like Amalfi.AlanzTalon said:I remember from E3 reading you can't leave the bounds of the track. they can't let the camera fly too far away or you will start to see behind the curtain.
G Rom said:Last thing, I suppose all the shots, even the big ones will be watermarked. FM3's one was way too big and terribly placed. Can you tell us how it will be in Forza 4 ?

waiting for someone say that those images looks off, etc
I think people took that initial concept video a bit too seriously anyways, a lot has panned out from that video, but I always considered it a concept pitch.Mascot said:We've seen this second warehouse. I think it's in the E3 trailer. Pretty sure it's got a dark pitched roof with a skylight in it. I'm on my iPhone otherwise I'd try to dig an image out. Damn shame about those missing homespaces.
FUCK YES.shinnn said:
You can only save a very limited number of these to the server at a time. As with WMV files in Forza 3, your best workflow will be to take a shot, upload it to the server, retrieve it and then replace it with another shot.
skyfinch said:I think all of these shots are from the car select menu, just blown up in size. Maybe that's why they look weird. They had to place them at the exact same angle.

eek5 said:I think dan mentioned in an interview that the AI would be upgrading based on how much you were beating them in previous races to keep it competitive for you. I'd imagine if you were racing all stock against cars in all you races they probably wouldn't max out their upgrades but who knows? Hopefully there are some options because I did enjoy some of the stock races.

Buy a cheap netbook. Problem solved!watership said:Oh oh. Tell me I'm wrong guys. Can we can store a bunch of big shots on the 360 then upload them, one by one? Or do we take a big shot in game and it auto uploads? Because if it's the latter we're going to HATE it. Taking one photo, running to the PC to download it, then taking another shot.
I though this as well, but it only looks more detailed because the bodywork IS more detailed/portrusive with all the bolts and stuff.lord pie said:Is it just me, or is does that hummer look significantly more detailed than the other cars?
Autovista perhaps?
lol if they're super pixelated in bigshot it is going to look terribleenzo_gt said:I hope the texture quality of custom liveries this time around is good enough to make Big Shot mode even better.

The newest LP models are in anway.enzo_gt said:Why do they still bother to include the oldest versions of the Gallardo and Murcielago? I mean, perhaps the Gallardo for the looks, but even still, they should have the newest LP model of each higher on their priority list IMO.
Even the Gallardo?BADNED said:The newest LP models are in anway.

No not DLC. The LP570-4 Superleggera is new in FM4. But it is part of the LCE exclusive VIP Car Pack DLC.enzo_gt said:Even the Gallardo?
Was it DLC for FM3 as well? Didn't pay attention to any FM3 DLC at all really outside the Hot Holidays pack and some Jalopnik articles.

If the game looked at the original vector art data and regenerated it for the photo calculation there wouldn't be a problem but who knows if T10 had time for that.eek5 said:lol if they're super pixelated in bigshot it is going to look terrible
Yeah I always wondered why they never just used vectors, but then again I'm fairly sure they've answered this question before and I can't remember the excuse.Iknos said:If the game looked at the original vector art data and regenerated it for the photo calculation there wouldn't be a problem but who knows if T10 had time for that.

AMUSIX said:So that white garage is one of the home spaces?
We have that, which is a finished warehouse, we have a generic open warehouse, and the Top Gear studio (which is a warehouse with a few extra bits).
