not enough of it
to last forever.
I agree the driving is better, and this alone makes f5 the best forza yet.
now I know all the "problems" we usually list about small track selection and repetitive "story mode",
but here is the thing: I 've been playing the nfs rivals, a racing game that is more driven by other stuff and not precision in tracks and handling etc. you could say that the "story mode" is one of the things that a game like rivals would pay attention, right? and it does. story mode with narrative cutscenes etc.
thing is, 20-25 hours in, and it seems repetitive as hell.
and let me remind you, rivals is open world day/night cycle plus dynamic weather bf4 style, cops and racers dope shit... right?
I mean, playing through nfs, really made me realize the extend of "problems" I have with f5.. not many problems, are there?
I am level 20something in nfs in race career, and maybe around lvl 10 in cop career. I dont see me ...grinding all the way to lvl 60. and dont get me wrong here, I really like rivals.
Now, forza on the other hand, i already have clocked in 10x or 50x the time, and yet I have mastered no track, no car, no class. just fooling around here and there in the leagues, and occasionally spending more time with a car that grabbed my interest.
so, if I was to say out of which game i still have more time to have fun with, the 25 hours in, story driven, open world nfs rivals, or the 10000000 hours in, sandbox racing, forza 5..
I guess I would choose the latter, easily..
BUT I still want the storefront, the open lobbies and ring/suzuka/tsukuba etc to return as fast as possible. and more detailed leaderboards. like fuckin'yesterday!!!
now, be it the ferrari, the v8 or the d class 'leMons' massacre , this sunday I am in!
