The girlfriend I had at the time was really into horror movies and wanted to see The Ring when it came out. I enjoyed horror movies but had never seen anything Japanese inspired... and ended up having a nightmare later that night about that closet. I was spending the night with her after the movie and I think she lost a bit of respect for me after that which ultimately lead to us breaking up a few months later.

Still have never re-watched it mainly due to that closet scene and the memories of the big tittie goth girl I ended up loosing.

In hindsight you should've snuck into the wardrobe when your ex was in a deep sleep and then proceeded to scratch at the inside of the wardrobe door, until she awoke and investigated the noise. At the last possible moment, just as she opens the wardrobe door, leap out and scream at the top of your voice.............

You can grab Ubisoft+ for a month, play the game for cheap, then cancel it before the next billing cycle
