Diezelraccoon on Twitter kind of got flak today for making a bunch of statements that are rather offensive considering the issues with GLBT rights today. People called him out on it and he just got more and more angry because people called him on his opinions he stated on twitter.

That's some fantastic artwork. I think a bunch of artists create universes and lore for their characters to some degree, and some more than others. I remember being in a fluffkevlar stream and someone was asking him about the lore behind his scifi stuff, and you could see him open file after file of artwork, stories, layouts of solar systems and galaxies all pertaining to his idea for the base of his original artwork. Stuff he'll never post probably, but it was extremely fascinating to see.

apparently even my choice of avatars make certain furries (the ironic, idiotic "hahah that's one shithead furry even though I am a furry too!" type) uncomfortable for petty reasons. I think I'll stick using James McCloud a bit longer because their suffering is hilarious!

His complaints are nonsense. He makes himself sound like an entitled shit. The reason why there is straight and gay sexual acts on one drawing is because people can be sexually fluid / bisexual and want to draw it / someone who is commissioned it. Not because gay artists like to tease those poor poor staights out there. lmao

It isn't any different than a gay person having to look at primarily straight art, porn, anything really in most fiction. Saying that you have to flip through gay art, or even use a filter kind of just speaks to how entitled they are.
Like, if you go on any porn site you'll see many different categories for whatever interest you have, but usually anything "gay" or "lesbian" is grouped into a singular category.

Oh my I had no clue this OT existed until today. I've never fursuited myself or gone to conventions but I've always been a fan of the furry community and always frustrated how much shit it always gets. Lot of nice folks in the community. I think I'll poke my head in from time to time.

Yeah furs get a lot of odd looks but most are sane people from my own experience. So many talented folk among them, people with a kind heart who just want to fursuit to bring joy to others or just do it because it's cute.

Took me awhile, but I finally saw Zootopia. now I can join the party! Unless I already made this post a few days ago and just forgot.

There is also the new furry documentary "Fursonas" which is honestly getting a lot of praise into its look at the fandom. It's coming out this summer but Ive heard nothing but good things from the screenings. This isn't one of those "the fandom is the most amazing diverse creative bunch of people" self-praising works either, this tries to paint it more objectively, digging deeper. At leas,t that's what I've heard.
