But at least he'll be back in time for Marathon.
In the US - yesThis is a great point and shows why this "gold rush" for GAAS is destined to fail. I'd say the vast majority, at least 80%, of the GAAS revenue market is owned by just a few deeply-entrenched IP. Fortnite, COD, LOL, PUBG, GTA Online, Roblox, WOW, and Minecraft would be my main picks for that. The entirety of the rest of the GAAS market would split the remaining 20%.
Ialways assume MiB is trolling, but is the guy being serious?
Came here just for this
It is about the user history and what he posted wasn't even about what he claimed it was.a ban for that? c'mon that's harmless post
Its for his own good. He hasn't been the same since that Marathon gameplay reveal trailer.a ban for that? c'mon that's harmless post
His stupid delusional topics are definitely not the problem... the way he responds almost everybody disagreeing with him in a constant condescending high horse big brain way definitely is.a ban for that? c'mon that's harmless post
You asked an AI and it quoted a post on IconEra.Sorry, but I don't see where it says it's thanks to GAAS?Men_in_Boxes ? It'(s stating that it's DLCs that are up, so it could be COD/Fortnite skins for what we know.
Edit pack it up guys:

That doesn't take into account the massive loss of Concord. So yeah, it's easy like that lol. And to think that there is ANOTHER generic GAAS by Fairgames coming...
Literally the first sentence: Based on the X post (the one in the OP) AND related data...You asked an AI and it quoted a post on IconEra.
We are doomed if people think this is a proper way to analyze anything. Numbers wise whatever AI this is got it factually wrong.
What is concord?? I have never heard of Concord. That's bs. They must not be counting concords loss because that would tank their numbers for sure.
This is clear example to not believe everything you are fed.
You claimed "it's stated" that it's DLCs that are up.. When neither the tweet in the first post or the pointless AI garbage you posted even mention DLCs lolLiterally the first sentence: Based on the X post (the one in the OP) AND related data...
OP is incorrect, and maybe I should've use Add-On content? Is it better for you? That change nothing but oh well. You claimed "it's stated" that it's DLCs that are up.. When neither the tweet in the first post or the pointless AI garbage you posted even mention DLCs lol
I'm not saying OP is correct but your post sucks bro.
Add-on content includes micro-transactions, which includes a whole lot of GAAS spending.OP is incorrect, and maybe I should've use Add-On content? Is it better for you? That change nothing but oh well.

I fail to see your point? So you think MiB is correct or not? If yes, please expand on why he is correct. If not, what are we doing here?Add-on content includes micro-transactions, which includes a whole lot of GAAS spending.
And Men_In_Boxes is banned at Icon.
I think mods have been lenient, suppose they have a book of grudges and he accumulated enough troll points for a time out.a ban for that? c'mon that's harmless post
My point is to correct you in this idea that it's states it's DLC and not related to GAAS. Hell you brought up Fortnite skins which is an example of GAAS revenue.I fail to see your point? So you think MiB is correct or not? If yes, please expand on why he is correct. If not, what are we doing here?
Most people will stick with confirmation bias instead of looking fair at reality. You asked an AI and it quoted a post on IconEra.

We know from Sony leak that attachment rate for follow-up sales on SP games are very low - for AAA action adventure 98% revenue is game spent, for fighters game (one that have follow up sales on higher side) it's 78%, meaning that only 22% are add-on revenue. The gap between software sales and add-on content now 30% in favor of latter, making it's very hard to justify "it's DLC sales". And a lot of gaas are paid gaas and their initial sales also goes towards software sales.I fail to see your point? So you think MiB is correct or not? If yes, please expand on why he is correct. If not, what are we doing here?
it was the thread that broke GAF's back.a ban for that? c'mon that's harmless post
I don't know when the fiscal year ended so possibly irrelevant. But as one of our resident sports gamers who is a sucker for team building, let me just say this. Last summer we got NCAA complete with team building mode. And Madden / NBA have been jacking up the price of card packs. If microtransactions went up it could easily be just from spend on increased sports game packs this past year.My point is to correct you in this idea that it's states it's DLC and not related to GAAS. Hell you brought up Fortnite skins which is an example of GAAS revenue.
We don't know the breakdown of that big 25% jump in add-on-content so nobody really knows who is correct.
It could be some big traditional DLC came out. (It's probably GAAS spend though lol)
It couldn't. It's 2.5 billion USD jump, like 100 mil more copies of DLC sold. Numbers on this scale are not dependent on any single or several few games, it should be a massive paradigm shift for it to happenIt could be some big traditional DLC came out. (It's probably GAAS spend though lol)
Mmmmmh a DLC you say, something like, what could that be... OH YEAHMy point is to correct you in this idea that it's states it's DLC and not related to GAAS. Hell you brought up Fortnite skins which is an example of GAAS revenue.

Five million copies across all platforms is the only reported number. ~Even~ if it sold 5 million on PlayStation alone (that is highly unlikely) you need 13 such DLC to explain bump in revenue.Mmmmmh a DLC you say, something like, what could that be... OH YEAH
