Don't know if it goes here but This album fucking BANGS and considering that their last a;bum was AOTY that year IMO, I think they might be one of my favorite groups. Shit is awesome.

Their first is still the best one though.

Long time rap fan...I'm loving all of Cole's stuff, love Big Boi's album etc., but I WANT MORE. Can you Gaf-Hoppers list out 3 or 4 new songs (2010) i MUST hear? Thanks in advance.

new Kanye is fantastic, definitely in my top five. Favorite song is actually Blame Game or Devil in a New Dress.

If you're really that thirsty, all you would have to do is look at people's top ten lists and then type the albums in youtube...I don't understand the dilemma or why that's hard.

For me it's Dark Fantasy, All Of The Lights, Hell Of A Life, and Lost In The World as the standouts.

the absolute best song I have heard this year is Mean Streak by Rakaa.

produced by El-P, the beat straight knocks. Chali 2na on the hook only makes the the track that much harder, when he comes in with his heavy bass tone and sick delivery to compliment the track overall it sounds amazing.

but then there's the actual lyrical content of the song. Rakaa's delivery is already on point, but the way he uses his words to create one of the most colorful visual images, then brings you to the next, then the next... and again he is doing this with words!!

like I donno how many of you have ever seen the movie Style Wars? There's no doubt that graf writers in the 80s must have been inspired by whatever drugs they were on, all the shyt they would see and then be able to put into their art. I cant say I can relate to that experience, but this song is prolly the closest thing.

so yeay, listen to Mean Streak, and watch Style Wars. My favorite song of 2010, and my favorite hiphop movie of all time.

Okay my friend was listening to Red Flame (My friend being me)

And I came across this song called Death Valley and to my dismay it wasn't half bad...Of course I had to throw everything else instantly, but I kept this track and another Ft Cormega (I Killed Hip-Hop). He also mentions Antony & The Johnsons!

...Lil' B listens to Antony & The Johnsons :lol

I don't want to bother starting a new thread for this, but I turned on Sex Style by Kool Keith for the first time in a few months, and it still fucking rules. This album is way better than Dr. Octagonecologyst, but for some reason it doesn't get nearly enough love.

Basically, listen to Sex Style if you never have. It just got reissued a year or two ago.
