I love Young Thug but saying he's better than Biggie is crazy to me. Maybe because storytelling is one of the aspects of hiphop that resonates very strongly with me, but man.. Biggie's combination of that inimitable smooth melodic flow with absorbing storytelling is such a powerful one, and one that invites revisiting often. Thugger sounds great but that's all there is to it; his work lacks longevity. Once you get his crazy rhythm/flow, that's pretty much it.

most modern music tbh

GKMC and TPAB vs Biggie's two albums is a much closer battle. I couldn't really separate them, but Biggie's music is MUCH older and still stands up very well. It's unclear how well Kendrick's stuff is going to age - probably well, but it's always difficult to predict.
GKMC>>>TPAB

Take Care remains the best Drake album I think, comfortably. The problem is his flow now sounds awful compared to what he's put out in the last couple of years. It's a weird situation; his flow and delivery has improved immensely but his songs are actually a lot less interesting these days.

TPAB>>>>>>>>GKMC
TPAB>>>>>>>>>>GKMC

Hopefully there's a professional recording of his performance with the National symphony at the Kennedy Center tonight.

Crazy how he came from being an awful live performer to one of the best.

still trying to find old issues of The Source but goddamn were they stingy with the mics sometimes

That's why Nas would brag about his 5 mic's he received in 94 for Illmatic. Review was written by Miss Info while she was an Intern at The Source and formerly known as Shortie.

look i get that other spots revere him as a god but the Pac hate here is ridiculous. dude put out such a body of work in such a short time & he might not be on your top 10 but he's got a place, and it's for the man's music more than just his image. jesus.

Fam I don't think anybody questions his body of work, just that what he represented easily outshined his entire output; Tupac himself is more part of pop culture than his music. People running around with Tupac merchandise and haven't heard a single Tupac song yet, this is the norm these days.

Will never not love Pac, maybe the best voice the genre ever had

cole's boring egocentric shtick will run out & he'll either have a motivational book written for him or get caught with an underage groupie sometime around when yeezy says something about the jews

10 minutes later a flood of memes will be made about a flash-in-the-pan west coast dance crazy and nobody will remember either event happening

I don't see it man. His popularity has only gotten bigger and the thing with his subjects is that they will always be relevant to a huge group of people. Drake is rapping about the same shit for like 8 years now, and look where he's now. I think Cole, Drake and Kendrick will stay relevant the most and will be the next 'big legends' the new cats will look up to

(Sorry for fronting twice breh but sometimes you gotta be the big brother of your big brother

Excuse my lateness

But this song is great. I think I'll check out the full album. From what I've looked it's dope shit!

Great video. I love these one take videos. I'm always on the look out to see if I can spot any camera crew or extra shadows that get in the way.

Song is hot too.
