I love Young Thug but saying he's better than Biggie is crazy to me. Maybe because storytelling is one of the aspects of hiphop that resonates very strongly with me, but man.. Biggie's combination of that inimitable smooth melodic flow with absorbing storytelling is such a powerful one, and one that invites revisiting often. Thugger sounds great but that's all there is to it; his work lacks longevity. Once you get his crazy rhythm/flow, that's pretty much it.
GKMC and TPAB vs Biggie's two albums is a much closer battle. I couldn't really separate them, but Biggie's music is MUCH older and still stands up very well. It's unclear how well Kendrick's stuff is going to age - probably well, but it's always difficult to predict.
Take Care remains the best Drake album I think, comfortably. The problem is his flow now sounds awful compared to what he's put out in the last couple of years. It's a weird situation; his flow and delivery has improved immensely but his songs are actually a lot less interesting these days.
