KRIT needs better marketing/PR people to get the attention he wants.
Well, it got it's own GAF thread.
KRIT just has the accent barrier, and has also had one of the worst managed debuts of all time. Look at where all of his major artist collaborations went (and there have been a bunch of them). Shame considering he's probably the most consistent in terms of release quality from young guns (but that also might be attributed to him having so many; but still).

A lot more artists need to do this imo. Save some of that advance/debut album money. Fall off the earth for a couple months, not even just drugs just get lost somewhere. Some of them coming from some poor as backgrounds man, hire an escort for a week in Morocco or some shit.

That's why I wish Big KRIT would leave the South and see the world for a minute. His vision is so limited, man. It's like everything he writes is a couple stories that could take place right there in his neighborhood where he grew up, and he still lives there. You need... Grandiosity.

I really enjoyed Control System, but commercially I can't see Ab's next album selling well. Then again, Oxymoron did well so who knows. I'll stan Kendrick forever but I would be shocked if Soul broke 150k, let alone 100k.
