There were workmen digging on the hill yesterday. This morn before the sun was up, whatever they'd done had obviously gone wrong, gushing water flowing down one side of the hill.
Was a strange image - me running fast down, splashing through this make shift river, stationary rush hour traffic...
Hey just a note that has been bugging me about your daily 5k updates... I think your pace calculation is super inconsistent unless I'm missing something there. You have faster paces on some longer times and what not. You may be just counting your whole run and not just a 5k distance, but I can't really tell.
Anyways, as for me, the temperature has started to drop pretty drastically and we have had some nasty weather outside that has deterred me from running some nights. My pace and distance have improved significantly from the start, I am feeling pretty comfortable running close to 8:00/mi pace even on longer 5-6 mile runs. I don't think I can do that for a whole half marathon, so I'll need to figure out how to pace myself a little better even if I'm feeling good to go faster earlier on in a run. I've also lost 4 lbs and lowered my body fat % since I started a month ago, even if that wasn't my original goal, it's nice to see some progress on my body.
