It's not required, but at the very least keep it around. If your TT doesn't get their gift, you can use your tracking to prove that you did at least send it. The past few years, around 30% of the people didn't send me tracking. So it's not worth enforcing.

GAF, I need your help on this. Through Google-Fu and sleuthing given what was provided to me, I have come across information that is probably/almost certainly crossing the line, so my gut reaction is probably to say no, but: if you're trying to make sure your TT's gift is amazing, would you message said TT's SO to help you out to figure out if he/she has certain things before you purchase?

Given that I'm a complete stranger, even though intentions are good, I feel like this is pretty much crossing the line, especially since it's not like this information was given to me.

I'm an idiot and this is a clear no right?

Hmm I should probably most some stuff I like.

I'm big into anime (figures, art books, blu rays, soundtracks etc), PS4 is my system of choice. I really like Steins Gate, haven't played 0 yet.

I love the Football. Buckeyes are awesome. NFL is cool, but my Browns are so awful I don't need any reminders of them in gift form. heh. I received a pretty awesome Cavs gift last year so that was neat.

Disney is a big love of mine, especially Disney Parks.

As someone that grew up with the original cartoon in the early 80s I am now googling what this is about. It's not the same as that live action movie that came out about 4 years ago is it? I actually loved that movie and glad I managed to catch it on the big screen.

The original show is 42 years old? 70s Japanese animation was awesome, Star Blazers (Space Battleship Yamato) and Battle of the Planets (Gatchaman) felt like grown up cartoons when I was 8 compared to what was going around on NZ television like Captain Caveman. Scooby Doo etc.

2199 is a remake of the original animation. It's amazing and it's getting a sequel soon IIRC!

Kinda slim on the information and when I asked him to elaborate on a particular part of his hobbies, it didn't help much at all on figuring out what the heck he actually has. I have ideas of what to get him but I'm worried he might maybe own it? I mean I understand its a guessing game at some points but I dunno

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I appreciated the effort on the part of my SS, even though I already had it.

Personal about me: I'm a big fan of 'reuse' so a regift, or something second hand is very very welcome and encouraged. I work in theatre, and always request theatre programs or other such things local to the person who is sending to me. Don't worry about fulfilling a wish list - instead tell me a story of where you are from. Local post cards, museum pamphlets, does your town have a 'giant thing'? I have three kids (6, 4, 2), so if you can include some sort of small trinket for them that'd be super awesome, and even more important than getting something for me Candy is also welcome. A bag of locally roasted coffee would be so cool!

The GAF SS is the only Christmas thing I do, and usually the only gift I get (at my request to friends and family). This'll be like my 6th year doing it I think, and it has been super special each time.

Uhh I have a problem, it appears that the Secret Santa order for my TT was split into two parts, the first part was delivered successfully but the second part was refused delivery at the same address.

The order is on its way back to the shop but WTF do I do? Do I PM an elf to tell my TT to accept anther delivery" I don't think he lives at the postal address full time but I'm confused as to why the first delivery was accepted but not the second.

I apologise if this indentifies me to my TT but obviously I'd rather they recieved all of their gifts.
