There are some other games that I am very excited for, but I simply cannot put things like Bloodborne, Uncharted 4, The Phantom Pain, Zelda Wii U, Scalebound, and The Order on there without seeing any SIGNIFICANT gameplay. Overall I was very disappointed in MS and Sony's first party offerings. The three third party giants all sucked this year as well. It was a great showing for third party games overall though, a great showing for Nintendo, and some really great indy games as well.

I'm hyped for Scalebound, Rainbow Six, and Yoshi's Woolly World, but they don't have quite enough to show to break that barrier. I'm just not confident they will be great experiences yet, and my top 3 are, in my eyes, the most assuring of something either really solid, or really fresh and solid enough.

Batman: Arkham Knight - The demo was so impressive and I'm excited for the game but for some reason I can't put it ahead of any of the other games on that list.

Rise of the Tomb Raider - I'm one of the people that loved the last one, so I'm very excited for this game, but we have yet to see gameplay and the CG trailer wasn't very exciting to me.

1). Bloodborne - I almost hit "submit reply" after just listing this one since every piece of information that comes out makes me more excited. It feels like my dream game right now.

2). Mass Effect 4 - I'm pumped for a new ME and although the footage was "conceptual", it looked amazing.

3). Uncharted 4 - In-Engine? In-Game? 1080P / 60 FPS?

4). Destiny - The gameplay videos made it look SO much more interesting than the trailer.

1# Reason: What can I say, this is aiming to be the Zelda game of my dreams. Gorgeous HD stylized graphics in a huge open world with tons of exploration and stuff to do since the first second you pick the controller. All of that mixed with top notch Zelda gameplay we all know and love. Plus, all the new gameplay additions that will be added.

As a matter of principle, playable/demonstrated games are prioritized over distant prototypes, and new titles are prioritized over remakes. Otherwise Zelda U and Grim Fandango would easily rest on top, and it says something for the strength of Zelda's art style and open-world promise that those two points alone vaulted it onto the list. (I wanted to prioritize set release dates in 2014 over uncertain ones in 2015 and beyond, but who are we kidding here? Everything's been bumped to 2015.) The extent to which I was drenched in Nintendo coverage is probably showing, but I couldn't bring myself to bump any of the ten above for No Man's Sky or Arkham Knight. I left out Smash because I was already a likely buyer and its E3 showing did little to persuade me even further of a known quantity.

DA: I just blew me away. When that lady started singing live, my heart went in my throat. Absolutely beautiful and Bioware shows that you don't need expensive CGI to keep your fans happy.

I will not buy an X1 this year, won't buy one in 2015 either probably. But SO was just beautifully presented, with a trailer that had me laughing. The colors are nice and the game looks fun.

Bloodborne needs no explanation. I have 1000+ hours in the Souls games combined, looking forward to adding a few hundred more.
