I was stunned by the open world Zelda Wii U announcement, but the actual video that they showed did not ... Show much?
Splatoon on the other hand was the full package: great visual style, innovative gameplay that they explained effortlessly and the glimmer of hope inside you when Nintendo are stepping up to the plate and delivering something new.
Arkham Knight and Far Cry 4 may be AAA crap to some people, but both had impressive demos with high production values this e3.
Bloodborne was only shown as a short trailer and the offscreen leak, and I don't know how I feel about less defensive options, but the From hype is well deserved at this point, because you know that they are at least not going to actively sabotage their own game with lowest common denominator crap.
No Man's Sky had demo that was visually spectacular, but not placing higher because ... What do you actually do in the game?
Rainbow Six: Siege impressed me, but the highly choreographed demo was a bit suspicious when you start to think about it. It seemed like a lot of random stuff were falling into place to make the match fun. How will the actual game play with eight random people on the internet? Will the small drones really be useful? How can the maps be balanced with so much destructibility? I am not convinced that the developer can answer these questions, but it is great of them to want great things.
Captain Toad because of irrational fanboyism, and some of it looked a bit fun.
Inside because the developer has the ability to create visually distinctive games at their fingertip.
The Witcher 3 ... I didn't really like the demo to be honest. It still looks good, but the experience of playing the game seems very similar to the previous game. It didn't show off the open world aspect very well. I was looking for some other game to take its place at number ten, but didn't come up with any.
