1. Xenoblade Chronicles X
2. Kirby's Rainbow Curse
3. Valiant Hearts: The Great War
Plenty of games that really impressed me, and some others that I'm interested in but just seem to have lacked much E3 presence. I find it difficult to really rank them so I've just listed my absolute favorites.
The absolute standout for me was Xenoblade X though. It's loked great since the first trailer and actually seeing it in action during the Treehouse stream was enough to convince me that it will be great. The visual design is just stunning, they've really done a fantastic job at building environments that have a real sense of scale to them. The creature design is incredibly fitting for the world as well. The combat also looks fairly solid and the premise sounds interesting. Yes the character faces are a little off, but that isn't nearly enough to stop Xenoblade from being the standout game of the show for me.
Kirby again has a fantastic art style to it, and as Canvas Curse was one of the best games on the DS, this should be a great title.
Valiant Hearts again has a great artstyle to it and I like the approach they are attempting to take at telling a unique World War 1 story. Plus the Ubi Art engine has yet to disappoint.
Fuck up of the show goes to the Type 0 Vita mess up. I'm not too pissed since I've been playing through the fan translation anyway, but it would still have been nice to have the game officially in English, and I have no plans to buy a next gen system yet.
