This is how I feel every time you guys start going on about staff and production minutiae.

You and me both :lol . I can't even tel the difference 99% of the time if another guy directed an episode or anything.

Team Stocking!

Yeah, but it seemed very noticeable in that episode.

R-18 images? :lol

:lol No... well, yes. But Pixiv isn't all R-18... If you search around, there is a trove of incredible talent in illustrative fields. Some truly remarkable stuff.

16 was disappointing to the say the least, i still enjoyed, but i felt like it could have so much more direction-wise.

17 was so bittersweet and sad, i almost cried. I particularity loved the use of music in that episode. Really awesome stuff.:lol

Oh, GAINAX.

Finally caught up with the show. There's been some "off" episodes but so far it's everything I was expecting and more.

And I need that OST nao!

No previews for this week's episode?

Sorry, a bit late this week (and I was watching Avatar on blu-ray).

Plus now we know there are FIVE segments this week. It goes all the way through ep22, even though there are no screens for ep22.

Ep18 - Inner Brief (Hiromi Wakabayashi, Masayuki, Nobutaka Ito)
Ep19 - Chuck to the Future (Shigeto Koyama, Hiroaki Tomika, Tomoko Sugidomari)
Ep20 - Chuck to the Future Part 2 (Shigeto Koyama, Shinji Higuchi, SANZIGEN)
Ep21 - Chuck to the Future Part 3 (Shigeto Koyama, Nobutoshi Ogura, Masahiko Otsuka)
Ep22 - HELP! Those two are Angels (Atsushi Nishigori, Hirokazu Kojima)

This is show is still keeping me entertained.

Great, it will look even more confusing when someone who is counting segments responds to someone counting episodes :lol

But segments are episodes. No official listing of the show actually counts each week as a single episode. Today is week 10, but it's certainly not episode 10.

Inner Briefs: Nicely animated slapstick; Wakabayashi's script was, as usual, really dumb, but the crazy animation was very entertaining to watch, at least.

Chuck to the Future 1 and 2: Funny Looney Tunes-like comedy; part 2 was specially good, great CG work.

Chuck to the Future 3: I certainly wasn't expecting Panty & Stocking to pull a David Lynch-themed episode.

HELP!: I don't think the song was very fitting for the video, but the animation and art were fantastic and it made for an enjoyable watch.

All in all, the most experimental(?) Panty & Stocking broadcast to date. They really wanted to complete the 26 episodes run, I guess.

Every time I think I've got a hold of what Gainax is trying to do with this show the newest episode just chucks (heh) everything out the window.

You win Gainax, you have successfully made me a slave to your trolling. Throw your worst over the last few episodes, I'm expect anything now.

Chuck to the Future provides only additional questions. lol wut.

Clearing the way for two 30 min full-length episodes to close out the series? My body is ready. Let's do this.

The last segment reminded me of those music videos they would play on cartoon network randomly back in the day like that Jabber Jaw one with the band Pain or the cartoon cartoon ones.

Really.... interesting set of episodes. I'll have to let it digest a bit before commenting further, but I really, liked Chuck to the Future. The other segments were good too, but overall, I really appreciate the very unorthodox approach they took to this week's episodes.

This week's bit of PSG is just a massive pile of "wat" for me. I'm still enjoying myself, but holy shit I felt like I was on drugs watching the Chuck To The Future stuff. (Weirdly enough, the ending to part three was expected but still made me go "what in the fuck"? :lol) It's also cool seeing that Chuck apparently sees the world around himself in a more proportioned manner.

And the music video was crazy.

I don't think it's just Chuck though. It's been heavily hinted throughout the series that everyone in the show itself sees things in a "real" form. The stylized look seems to be a filter between the world in the show, and the audience. That's the impression I get anyway.

Inner Brief was gross as fuck. Still enjoyed it.

The three Chuck shorts were dull. Interesting to look at... but dull.

Music video was pretty kick-ass.
