I just don't see why they would show the same exact clip twice if that's the case. Honestly, there's no deeper meaning here other than a possible plot hole/overlooking of the writers.

Well yeah the scene played out the same but wasn't that after bran got new info from Sam? So maybe just his perception changed and they show it again to review/show new things for viewers.

I question if the Golden Company will ever get any rea airtime. Part of me expects them to be thwarted or converted to undead almost instantly. Partially for budget reasons.

I like the idea of the GC arriving only to get instantly wrecked by the Night King and causing the undead to have a massive advantage. I want the hubris of both Cersi and the Iron Bank to get slapped down.

I want to see Theon and the I R O N B O Y S wreck Euron and either bring the Golden Company to Dany's service through some "Orders were changed" type thing or just straight up leave them where they are.

They explode into ice upon death.
they do, but what other kind of magic can the faceless men conjure up to make their illuminati shit work? most likely yeah, arya can't pose as a white walker
You'd think they'd have an open mind seeing some of the shit the House of B&W does in their own city.
Do we know that they even know about the faceless men?

The scene was literally the exact same one as the s6 finale. if they showed s7 Bran in the same scene again trying to hear Lyanna better, than maybe I would say Bran making the mistake of assuming Jon is a Sand makes sense, but that isn't the case. So I think it is weak writing.

I forget the circumstances but it cannot be coincidental that Tyrion mentioned that a million people live in kings landing because "there's work." Everyone in Kings landing is going to get turned and we'really going to get a night king on the iron throne shot.

Do we know that they even know about the faceless men?

The Iron Bank knows everything. They're the most powerful entity in the world from the sound of it. Their backing can literally end or create dynasty's. They're that rich.

I mean Mycroft walks into King's Landing on his own and disrespects Cersei to her face after she just blew up like 90% of her opposition and she's has The Mountain as a personal guard/killer and has zero reservations about it.

Dude acts like a Mafia Don in his prime of power and he's the lowly member of the bank they send on errands.

It's so weird watching the behind the scenes stuff and hearing the actors speak in their normal accents/inflections.

Jorah's actor especially does a great job sounding much more heroic for his character, I couldn't imagine him using his normal voice.

Episode 1: One hour of Jon and Dany incest porn ;)

if that's the case, maybe there'll be a plot twist and the iron bank sends the mercenaries up north to fight the winter war, which means even they betray Cersei and that means EVERYBODY betrays Cersei...

fuck Cersei.

edit: sorry for double post

I'm not denying the scene is the same. I'm saying his understanding is different after finding out about the wedding

our perspectives are just going to remain different. I don't think it's reasonable for Bran to deduce after hearing Lyanna, that Jon is Jon Sand. He doesn't even say Aegon Sand, I'm pretty sure he says Jon Sand. And this is after he talks to Sam.

Watch as we all make a big deal about incest but everyone in the show will be nonplussed about and just say something like, 'So how's it like banging your aunt, Jon?', wink, and move on with focusing on the ice zombies.

Let's give the incest a recess and speculate about what the finale season could be.
The series finale is the Night King sitting on the iron throne as he relishes the fact that humanity ended itself through civil wars.

Then the show rips off the Battlestar Galactica Ending and it jumps to a picture of Trump as the new Night King, and it turns out that Game of Thrones is set in our ancient past!

I could see all of this.

Crossing Eden

Hello, my name is Yves Guillemot, Vivendi S.A.'s Employee of the Month!
I just realized the most fucked up thing about Arya. She was specifically taught by the hound to go the heart to make things quick and clean, yet ever since she started training as a faceless man she's been specifically slitting the throats of her victims.

Since D&D are fond of dem twists, I predict episode 6 will have a massive timejump into the future and will be about Jon Jr. all growed up defeating nighty. If Long Night 2.0 doesn't last another generation it would be a pretty lame winter.

The arya and sansa teaming up against LF was so random since sansa was so scared of Arya, and they guy was killed without proof

Without proof? He confessed.

And it's not random either, they knew he was trying to pit them against each other. He thought he was play them but they were playing him.

All I want for the ending of Game of Thrones is for the Stark children to be reunited in Winterfell with their direwolves. I fell in love with the show and books initially because I really enjoyed the idea of the six Stark children each getting one direwolf to protect them.

Is something like this even possible anymore?

*Robb Stark and his direwolf were murdered at the Red Wedding

*Bran and Jon are alive but I don't remember what happened to their direwolves

*Sansa is alive but her direwolf was euthanized by Ned Stark (forced to do so by Joffrey)

*Arya is alive but her direwolf Nymeria chooses to roam the riverlands and will likely never reunite with her

*Rickon... I can't remember what happened to him or his direwolf

EP6 - Jon is getting wrecked and looks like he will lose, but then Brann comes in and is able to restrain the NK with his crazy ass powers.

Only if its directed by David Cronenberg.

"All right. We are going to do this the Three Eyed Raven way--"

"I don't know what that means"

" I'm gonna suck your brain dry! Everything you are is gonna become me. You're gonna be with me Night King, no matter what. After all, Starks should be close, don't you think?"

He confessed to saving Sansa from her crazy aunt. Everything else he denied or said he didn't know Ramsey was crazy.

The North is full of hicks and you can get lynched without a trial.

Bran's died in the cave holding off the undead.
Rickon's was killed when he was captured.

i guess it is interesting to think about if they will deal first with the winter war, or the southern war next season.

it's very LOTR-ish to think about, if they go that route, i'd say 3 episodes to deal with the NKing and then 2 for Cersei, then 1 as the series finale.

He confessed to killing the Lady of the Vale in front of Knights of the Vale and one of their most lower bannerman, are you telling me they're just going to be totally fine with this because she was "troubled"?

[edit]

Also, he goes up to Royce to ask to be returned to the Vale when just a season earlier he almost had him killed as a power move.

Did anyone else notice Thoros in the NK's army? I'm pretty sure I saw his distinct man bun, then the next shot was of his covered boots he was wearing when they went north of the Wall.

Also in terms of Hydrus prediction which I feel is quite good, I think Melisandre could be the one to resurrect a deceased Jon and/or Dany. I'm not so sure she left Westeros if she was so committed to the Lord of Light.

He knows that love for rulers normally ends badly (Robb and his stupid fling)

Worked out for Aegon I who conquered Westeros and married his sisters.

They used him as a camp fire when they were stuck on the island. No way that was Thoros.

Who watches TV like this??

8FKiZvs.png

Nothing's even happening on screen when they're reacting like that. I was watching some clips from this bar last week. It's kind of entertaining, in a "How overdramatic can this room full of hipsters behave?" kind of way.
It's the last scene and they're expecting Night King fuckery. Jeez not everything has to be nitpicked to death.
Tommund has been set up by the showrunners as a very likeable character. he is very well liked. my wife was upset that they were going to kill him off.

as for watching in bars, its been a tradition since forever. seinfeld was pretty big back in the day.
Seriously. It literally looked like Tormund was fucked there. I don't even think we saw confirmation that they even escaped. I too was bracing myself and was sure he was a goner. I was sure the dragon was gonna aim right for them.

I guess.

But it seems like over kill to have him worrying about them like that when there's a voice over basically telling us it's not going to end well when they find out the truth.

Hmmm
I dunno. I think back to Maester Aemon's talk with Jon about why love is forbidden.

What happens to Dany's level head if Cersei murders Jon now?
