mine:
- give some depth to NK instead of "i am a bad guy" theme he's got going
- jaime choke a bitch
- danny to die a horrible, horrible death
- sansa ends up queen of 7 kingdoms
- either kill branhattan cripple or take away his vr porn at the end
- have some unique twist in the mold of hold the door towards the end, possibly related to the walkers
- focus on character moments and relax with the manner that they talk
- no more character assassinations
- jon vs nk i would love a 1v1, but for some reason I kinda want jaime to have some finishing blow. not sure why since jon is a fave of mine and jaime isn't, but it would be for quite an angle
- no beric/meli resurrection on jon, danny or really anyone. keep the dragon balls the fuck away from resurrections.. I was already annoyed at the crappy #stakes that were poorly cooked from s7
- wtf is dorne forgotten. they have an entire army double ds, for fucks sake
- bring back the threat of the walkers/wights. so essentially don't let the dude that did ep 6 direct any episodes with any sort of action and bring sapoGOAT back for 3-4 eps to close this bitch out. Also when they run at you, they actually fucking kill you, not that garbage from ep 6. Ugh, WORST written and directed episode of the series.
- hopefully the WW vs the living isn't a 1 episode battle ordeal that ends and all is done. maybe take a massive L first, then come back to win. Give the impression that their odds are stacked.
- forgot this like the double Ds did all season, but can we have ghost back?

HBO should get the CGI work for Ghost crowd-funded so we can see him for more than 5 minutes, dammit. I wouldn't be shocked if we didn't see him at all, sadly.

Am I the only one who actually thinks that Sansa might end up on the throne? or at least the highest rank in Westeros if there is no Irone throne anymore?
It would be pretty cool in the sense that smaller characters are being developed in the background while the more obvious heroes are bickering and fighting .

I'm going to re-watch as well. I just bought the Seasons 1 to 6 set on Amazon UK. Should arrive here in about 8 days. These are the Atmos versions, so that makes me happy.

Reminder that you have to set Atmos in the opening menu, otherwise it defaults to lossy Dolby 5.1

Thanks for that tidbit. Amazon UK has become my go to for disc media now. It's so much cheaper than purchasing it in USA counterpart. I'm fine with the wait.

This series was inspired by historical events. It's why I think Cersei/Jaime and Dany/Jon's offspring will be pledged to one another to rule as king/queen.

If they're both boys or girls though Westeros is screwed.

The upside to this thread is that it's the official GOT thread and someone often comes in with something to say, share or discuss...The downside is, it's in community so if you want more people to watch with you, then this ain't the place to advertise it, lol...

I'm currently on season 3 of a rewatch I wasn't planning on doing but did anyway because I wanted more after a short season, lol.

Did our re-watch of the first episode. Still good stuff. It does a great job of starting out insanely intriguing with the White Walker stuff and introducing everyone and their main personality traits without dragging on at all. Great seeing everyone so ridiculously young again, and god I miss Ned and Robert. Two of the best actors in the entire show. Or at least two of the better cast actors.

This is probably the 4th or 5th time watching Season 1, too. Never gets old.
