Trying to put together a list of gaming stuff I should buy, before potential price hikes.

Got 8bitdo controller.
Bought some switch games.

Switch 2 and accessories.

I did not plan this but I bought a new TV a few weeks ago.

Maybe a new PS5 controller but other than that nothing really, I have enough vidya and what not.

If you are in the states and have a Target Circle account they have a 15% off of any online or in store purchase which makes the Pro Controller like $72. At least for me it expires in 2 days.

I don't think it's intended to work on Nintendo games or hardware, but it worked for me on the Switch 2 when I preordered. Should have picked up the controller at the time, but never expected the discount to really apply in the first place and just wanted to secure the preorder.

It's been a week since my order was confirmed so think I'm safe, but won't be shocked if I get a last minute cancellation.

Yeah, I tried so hard to get my SW2 through target because of the 15% but I failed. Luckily my friend got me a preorder at a semi-local GameStop.

Switch 2 for $410 after tax would have been amazing. I'm glad you got it at that price though!

Maybe a Quest 3. I was gonna wait to see Valve's headset but I'm guessing that will be astronomically expensive now.
If you own a PC you can compromise by buying most games on Steam and use the Quest 3 to play them from the PC.
Assuming Valve has a new headset in the works your games will still work on it.
I still play some games native to the Quest 3, Like Beat Saber, or any of the other non graphically demanding games.

Yeah I have a Quest 2 and love it
