Gaming polled as least unattractive vice for men

Let's walk back the other recent thread about gaming being the least attractive hobby for men. Here's some data.

Only 61.8% of women polled in the study viewed gaming as unattractive, better than every other vice.

And considering virtually all men drink, watch TV, smoke, watch porn, gamble, argue online, and think women are irrational, gaming being in the mix doesn't seem like too much of a problem!

Now, looking at the flip side of the positive attractiveness responses:

Video games are rated more attractive than watching TV.

Note: the polling was not a random population sample, and skewed toward highly educated, high status white women.

"Our sample was a convenience sample of 814 participants (48% female). Consistently in the samples that we run we see a pretty even split for politics and feminist ideology, so we don’t expect much political ideological bias. However, our samples skew disproportionately toward women of high social status, high level of education (45% had a Master’s degree in the previous survey), and who are predominately White (> 90% in the last survey). Popular hobbies like “clubbing,” which was rated low in our sample, may be perceived as more attractive in other populations."

Basically, women want a bilingual traveling blacksmith who does archery, gardens, and reads — or some combination like that.
I think they should do a thing where they sit these women down with a sketch artist to find out what they imagine a modern day blacksmith looks like lol

The worst experience I had with a woman in relation to gaming, was she always insisted on watching me play while I just wanted to immerse myself in solitude. Most modern women I know of either game to an extend or are just indifferent to it. Only older women iny experience either actively dislike it or find it unattractive/juvenile.

I’ve been married for 30 years and my wife has no interest in video games. It’s my hobby and helps keep me sane. Btw, I choose Vyse as my Xbox Live gamertag (I was a beta tester for Xbox Live) as video games are my one true vice. Plus I loved that game!

PSA: Stop thinking about what women find attractive, do what you like, work on you, and hope the rest figures itself out. You don't need 4 billion people half of which are morons to like you, you only need one. Same applies inverting the genders or same sex, but there's a definitive cultural vibe of men should be this or that right now.

Personally, I've now seen the same thing with 3 women in a row, at first its was years of "I wouldn't date a gamer", "I wouldn't date someone who's 5' 9", "I wouldn't date someone who's bald", all eventually settled into those things when they married and figured out their market value was also crashing. Those girls voting they find gaming unattractive, it will not matter a mote when they're older and settling, almost guaranteed, these polls don't mean anything but that they asked potentially young, potentially stupid people

Granted "young" can mean "approaching 40 and still immature" at this point, but...

Bros, cut the porn out asap. It gives you a skewed view of reality where you start worshipping women, since they become your primary source of pleasure. Pick up that thing you've been neglecting, and push in that direction instead

80% of women find men who are really into musicals attractive. Got some bad news, ladies...
Hey now. I’ll watch the hell out of some classic
Rodgers and Hammerstein musicals. Stephen Sondheim, Bob Fosse, and Andrew Lloyd Webber, not so much (with a few exceptions [Phantom of the Opera and Damn Yankees]).
