Finally got my Wings, and while Gears 2 did bring me a lot of enjoyment, I'm REALLY not going to miss the inconsistency.

Think I'm set for Monday night - only disappointed that I can't get all pre-order bonus characters. Savage Kantus, Commando Dom and Mecahnic Baird are all great alternatives to the characters I normally play in 2 multiplayer anyway. Here's to hoping they are available soon!

I agree with this; River and Blood Drive as well, can go to hell. Give me Raven Down and Mausoleum! OR Raven Down and Escalation. Anything but Blood Drive - SO overplayed in 2, now I'll have to play it more?

Day One? Gah, what a horrible map.

It's the worst map out of all maps in the Gears series. It's truly terrible. I have never met anyone who said that he liked it, so I don't know why Epic would want to remake it for Gears 3.

It's just so poorly designed, the empty middle section turns it into circle races, the one way ramps upstairs turns it into camping, etc etc, if it's completely redesigned, maybe it'll work.

But yeah, so many better choices.

I don't mind Blood Drive, so that doesn't bother me. River could work as well if the power weapons get toned down.

Damn, I need to find a copy of this game early.
