Pretty much every PS game is headed to PC now. It's more of a question of when.

Everything is coming to PC, im not sure why people are still surprised by this enough to keep pointing it out.

Also this list is clearly XDev related projects not sonys full pipeline of games in development, obviously as there aren't any american devs or team asobi on the list

Yep. It's all they have. That's it, pack it up!

All their other studios are cardboard cutouts of people and closing shop next week.

That might be all they have for the coming year. And that alone would be barren.

You, Spinal and a few others get soooo passive aggressive and sensitive when there is any playstation related rumors or news that is not received with absolute jubilation and glee.

It's so cute.

I know right?

That list is barren af.
Nah whats barren has been PS5's lineup since Ratchet was released in June of 2021 until Spiderman 2 which will release in holiday 2023. 2.5 years of cross gen games. Im happy to see some actual PS5 games supposedly coming out soon. Dont care if they are from smaller studios as long as they are ambitious.

Lets hope they are real next gen and not fake next gen.

Not passive aggressive at all. Making jokes. We have been down these roads many of times, and there have been things pointed out as to why it's mainly XDEV info with other known games not on there from non-XDEV development, i.e. their other studios.

But, carry on with the "concern" too, it's adorbs.

You're just concern trolling as usual. It's very obvious its not a comprehensive list.

Even if this was a list of things coming out soon, i don't even see how that would be bad whatsoever lol

A new AAA kojima game, Horizon Multiplayer, Ronin, Horizon Story DLC, two Narrative horror games, twisted metal, etc. etc. on top of the stuff already planned like spider-man 2, helldivers 2, and PSVR2. Then the big 3rd party stuff?

Like ok…

This would be a banger 2023 list

But it's not a 2023 list. Should be obvious

Lmao I hope someone leaks all their plans for the next decade.

Jim Ryan and Herman deserve it.

Wanna skip E3? Skip Summer game fest and literally every gaming convention in existence and replace it with NOTHING? No showcase, no communication.

Never address any rumours and just let them spiral out of control (abandoned, silent hill, now horizon remake).

Then raise prices worldwide without announcing a single new game since I can't even remember when

Your shit deserves to leak. Get fucked.

They have 25 games in development at minimum. You're telling me not a single one is ready to be announced? Really? Not one.

Companies comment on rumours all the time. It's very common and simple to just say "We have no plans for _____ at this time". They used to do it.

Why should they reveal new games for this product I spent $750 Canadian on that just got a price increase? Really?

I spent damn near $1000 on this product, I deserve to be kept in the loop via a showcase of what to look forwards to like EVERY OTHER gaming company on earth does. Except Sony lmao.

If you cancel E3 appearances and all other gaming conventions and replace it with nothing I have the right to be annoyed.

Ayooooo this is the attitude that pisses me off.

I know they're video games my guy.

A) This is a hardcore hobbyist forum.

B) The industry is obsessed with secrecy. Way more so than Hollywood. Like you said, they're just video games, so why the fuck are you so secretive? :messenger_grinning_sweat:

My point is that Sony treats these video games like god damn Nuclear codes with all their secrecy.

You guys are missing the point

I run my own business and have a kid on the way. My hobbies are entertainment/media and sports. Dont be one of those people that can't see your fav company criticized. It's weird as hell.

Another day another Sony leak lol. They need to control their own narrative and not let leakers run wild.

I have no sympathy for them regardless but jeez, it looks kinda unprofessional lol

People really think that list shows everything the entirety of what PlayStation Studios is working on?

What about me is a concern troll?

Do you somehow think I don't actually play on Playstation? I'll friend request you right now if you want.

-A new Kojima game isn't exciting to me if it's a sequel to Death's Stranding. I nuked the first one to the dust bin after dropping the nuke in the lake in the game. Biggest disappointment ever.

-1/3 of this list was Horizon related, an IP that while beautiful bores me to tears.

-Dont give a damn about an unknown horror game that isn't one of the big guns.

-Ronin is NOT a Sony IP. It belongs to Tecmo Koei. It's in the same boat as Nioh 1 & 2 in that Sony is publishing for console exclusivity but they don't own the property at all. I'm sure it will be good to great just like Nioh, but not really a feather in SIE's cap.

-The last time Twisted Metal was relevant was with Black in like 2001 or 2002. Dead franchise.

-Helldivers 2?? Like the first one was even a blip on the radar. Lol.

-PSVR2? The sequel to the peripheral that bombed and won't even be backwards compatible anyway? Lol.

-Spiderman 2 will for sure be a banger. If only I still cared about Marvel properties.

C'est La Vie I suppose. Sony's output has just been weak this gen so far for me.

But their third party console exclusives seem to be more than making up for it. I do give Jimbo credit for opening up the purse strings there. But I sure as hell don't give Herman Hulst any credit for the SIE portfolio management.

Apologies we all assumed you knew what barren meant

Our bad

Well they charged 10 for the upgrade to uncharted legacy of thieves remastered versión and if You just have 1 Game on ps4 You receive both remastered games for 10. I expect a 10 upgrade for Horizon PS5 which is not that Bad because they gave the complete edition for free for everyone.

Why would Sony, SIE or XDEV need to list on an excel document the publisher and dev studios, game engine, platform, if it's multiplayer or not?

Since when Sony is going to have a junior engineer as primary engineer of a project?

Why does it include some European internal development games mixed with XDEV games, missing both European internal development games and XDEV games? Why does it include XDEV Japanese team games while it misses other ones from this team?

Why does it list Ballistic Moon's game as using Decima when it was announced that was going to use Unreal Engine 5?

Why the London Studio game has 'custom' as engine instead of listing its name? Why the Horizon VR doesn't list its game engine?

This document is a fake.

Hopefully next time sony leaks a list it's way more hype
This list is a clear fake, it isn't a leak.

Check out this other 'leaked' list, it's more realistic and I think will hype you more: https://www.neogaf.com/threads/gema...es-document-has-leaked.1642443/post-266666571

Dont bother. You are right about them. Just take solace in the fact that they are part of the 5.9% and move on with your life.

I agree with you on some things like Horizon overload but DS2 could be amazing if Kojima decides to overhaul the combat. MGSV still has the best damn stealth action combat in a game and its a PS3 game. Im meh on helldivers even if its a 3rd person coop shooter, but what if its next gen and has some kind of amazing hook like fancy physics or destruction? Twisted Metal i dont care for either, but what if its like that Motorstorm CG trailer? If it looks like Destruction Trash Stars then sure, fuck that game, but it has the potential to be great. Ronin looks worse than GoT. I have no idea why Jimbo is even paying for these last gen games when he's visiting European offices trying to burn the Activision deal. Like dude, you pay for trash like Ronin all the time. lol

I agree that there is a lot of GaaS trash on this list but this is Sony, and even their trash is better than third party trash. If Horizon MP can be a Shadow of the Collosus prototype game where you take down giant tallnecks with other players instead of a boring FPS shooter then it could be great. Not buying it if they dont bother pushing the graphics and physics engines though.

Same goes for the Camden, Bates, and Heartbreak. I highly doubt Sony would be pushing all these GaaS games without putting in their A effort. I dont expect them to be shitty GaaS games EA and Ubisoft try and shove down our throat.

This kind of information would never land on a excel sheet like that. lol. If it was a PP, I could kind off see it, but this? A leaked document ? No chance in Hell.

It could have been made for personal use, although not a good idea, some junior employees do that instead of the proper procedure.

If you're going to make up a bogus list of games, at least make it interesting.

Silent Hill.
Socom Reboot.
Bloodborne 2.
Jak and Daxter Reboot.
Wipeout.
Driveclub 2.
Motorstorm.
Warhawk.

Sorry, just going through my wish list. 😂
Feel free to add.

... Move on. ... Its basically crying for the sake of crying.
You should take a page from your own book when it comes to Cyberpunk. You have the right to whine in those threads, pretty rich of you saying this now. People have the right to criticize Sony for this.

And there is "history" to consider this will be a $70 dollar product since their last game that had new models and yada yada was $70 with TLOU.

We need an update on this.

Back in February, Silent Hill series composer teased a project announcement—"the one you've been waiting for"—coming this summer in an interview with Al-Hub, which was taken down at the request of an unspecified party. While Konami has denied that it asked Al-Hub to remove its interview, Eurogamer noted that the company was not happy with Yamaoka's tease.

Gematsu has also heard that a new Silent Hill is in development at a prominent Japanese developer. That studio is Kojima Productions, according to a publishing source that wishes to remain anonymous, who also said that the game is funded by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Fake shit. It must be a joke, this isn't written by anyone at Sony or in a game development or publishing company.

Genre: "GaaS". GaaS isn't a genre, it's a business model.

Ronin shows "TBC" as genre and engine (they started to work in this game 7 years ago, obviously they know the genre and engine)

London's engine listed as "Custom" instead mentioning its name like in the case of Decima or Unreal.

Ballistic Moon using Decima as engine. This is wrong, they are confirmed to be using Unreal Engine 5.

It's also funny that doesn't mention PS4 anywhere.

And well, they list some XDEV Japan team games while they forget to mention Media Molecule games and also forget Stellar Blade. In addition to this what happened to Helldivers 2, which was supposed to be released this year according to the Nvidia list?

I think this list is a fake.
What's amusing is Gematsu themselves had an article about Project Bates and in that article they mentioned the Devs themselves confirmed it's a UE5 game, so, yeh, I think it's fake also. (Heck, I even think the Horizon rumours are fake and most likely taken from this list)

I saw some posts of confusion but Ronin is the game they showed at the State of Play. Some other notes:

  • All of these games are on similar development pipelines except Death Stranding 2. Of course, some will take longer than others.
  • All of these games are getting support from Sony's UK office. It sounds like they have 3 support divisions, UK, US, JPN (Asia).
  • Carbon sounds like an open-world Sackboy.
  • Redstar sounds a lot like the Twisted Metal that was moved to Sony London. I am sure that it is. Given that, we can assume this may be a year old at least. Two outlets had this sheet for some time.
  • Sony is working on 4 different Horizon projects + the show, Jesus give it a break.
  • Whatever Camden is, that will be incredibly important to Sony this gen. That is a new IP and it sounds big. I think that will be their next new "it" game/franchise, they have to hit on this.
  • Bates sounds like any other Super Massive game.
  • Where the fuck is Media Molecule?
Between FF16, Asobi, and the last State of Play we just got, that is pretty much everything out of Japan minus Konami and whatever has already leaked from Capcom. This leak is essentially everything Sony has in the UK for the first and second party.

What's missing is everything in North America:

BluePoint - New IP
Bend - New IP
Haven - New Live Service IP
Insomnaic - Spider-man 2, Wolverine, maybe a VR game?
Naughty Dog - The Last of Us MP game that's probably like The Division, Last of Us 2 Remaster, maybe something else
Pixelopus - New AA IP
San Diego - MLB
San Monica - ??????
Suckerpunch - Ghost 2

BluePoint - New IP -maybe, described as 'original content'
Bend - New IP
Haven - New Live Service IP
Insomnaic - Spider-man 2, Wolverine, maybe a VR game? -Insomniac have been hiring for a multiplayer game for the past year
Naughty Dog - The Last of Us MP game that's probably like The Division, Last of Us 2 Remaster, maybe something else - Neil Druckmann is working on a new game now, most likely not Last of Us Part 3 or Uncharted. Confirmed at Summer Games Fest
Pixelopus - New AA IP - Pixelopus says their new game is AAA and its in collaboration with Sony Pictures Animation so its probably pretty big, being made on UE5
San Diego - MLB
San Monica - ?????? -Corys new IP, unless hes doing a god of war spinoff
Suckerpunch - Ghost 2

Team Asobi- AAA Platformer
Firewalk (2nd party) - Another Multiplayer
Housemarque - another AAA 3rd person shooter most likely

And Media Molecule is rumored to be working on a new game as well

Get a grip homie lol

It's a gaming discussion forum, not everyone is gonna agree with everything. I can voice my opinion however I like as long as I'm not attacking anyone personally.

If you wanna read positive sony posts only then the ignore feature ain't hard to find. That would be weird though
You do you sweetie

We need an update on this.

Kojima's new game codenamed Ocean is death stranding 2. Norman Reedus already confirmed it.

Whats curious is that this list is of games that are coming out soon so likely 2023. I wonder how many of these games are cross gen. If that means Death Stranding 2 is cross gen then im moving to florida. to drown myself in that hurricane.

This is obviously fake. The obsession with engines, to the point of actually listing it on internal documents is purely a "gamer fantasy" thing. No publisher is going to list the "engine" their games use on internal documents nor would it internally be referred to as engine. Engine is simplified gamer lingo.

Open World is not considered a genre in itself. "Roguelike" is gamer lingo to describe a genre, it's not something that a publisher would use. It would be useless to label game as such. Funny how this all came from a source nobody had ever heard of before, right? Isn't that a coincidence?
