Eh, I personally prefer a fantasy setting.
I actually would love a GI clone in a more classic vein, or even something outright out of the Forgotten Realms. Lodoss or Lineage would be dreamy for me.
Edit: with this I meant that I think GI has an advantage over ToF.
Also, what a fucking stupid name is "Tower of Fantasy"?

It says "Hu Tao + Cocogoat ", not "5☆ Amber". So I guess it means "less health leads to more DMG + Cocogoat crits". Hu Tao is a close range hero, so you need to pay attention to your surroundings. Cocogoat has a giant range and don't give a fuck about health management as she can stay away from a danger with only 1HP left and still be just as effective. Also, why would you be in fire? Not once I was affected by my own cryo. Can't say the same about Klee's pyro shenanigans.

I was thinking about Ganyu's double-charged shot, skill, and burst, but with pyro, which would be setting most of the surrounding areas on fire. Fortunately, in this game, it's pretty hard to apply cryo to yourself.

Hmmmm... makes s lot of sense, still not as dangerous to yourself as Klee's skills imo. Klee's range is abysmal, so I wouldn't worry too much about Pyro archers harming themselves. But Cocogoat's charged shot imbued with fire is a really scary thing haha.

Keep in mind, a lot of the stuff referenced with Honkai is based out of their other 2 games Gun Girl Z and Honkai Impact. Those games have been kinda dancing around what Honkai is for years, but that's a generally accepted theory. It's also backed up a bit in the opening cutscene of Genshin. But as far as the motivation of the Honkai, yea it's anybody's guess. Another popular theory is that they're purposely trying to keep civilizations in the multiverse from hitting some big discovery or a certain technological advancement point, but the reason is unknown. Maybe the twins' original civilization hit that point and that's how they became immortal. Also could explain why they're "travelers" and seemingly have no other people from their civilization.
I certainly find this angle a lot more interesting and less overused than time travel bullshittery or time loops. Once those things get added into canon of a story, it feels like all consequence goes right out the window and the story events have no real meaning anymore because it can be retconned literally at any time when they feel like it.

I think there was a thing in honkai where otto discovers that the "honkai" is a "system" in the imaginary tree, so the only way for humans to be free of the honkai, would be to "move away" from the tree somehow (taking control of it?).
We know that teyvat is a "leaf" on one of the "branches" of the tree, but the honkai hasn't shown to exist there (yet), so I find it hard to apply that theory for the multiverse.
Teyvat might not be as advanced as honkai in science/tech, but they clearly are more advanced in "magic" and have/had gods with immense power; if it's just about reaching a certain point in science/tech, teyvat might as well never reach it because they are advancing in a different way via "magic"
It's kinda like how in the avatar world, there's been no need to develop tech that generates electricity, because you can just have a couple of lightning benders power everything.

Next we'll find out that human like appearance of siblings is just a holographic projection and in reality they're the only known survivors of the ancient Prothean race xD But yeah, time travel fuckery is lame and it makes all our actions utterly meaningless so I would preferred a Mass Effect trilogy like universe/story.

Bolded is why I think it's relevant to Genshin. I think Celestia and the gods are just a buffer to prevent the Honkai from noticing Teyvat. Clearly they put a stop to Khaenri'ah when they started getting "too big for their britches" tech wise, so it's very possible that the leaders of Celestia or the powers behind it are aware of Honkai. The archon war was 2000 years ago, so if we're using our own civilization on Earth as a reference, they should be roughly where we are tech wise since they already were more advanced during the war than we were 2000 years ago (take the ballista in Liyue for example). The only thing I don't get, then, is why *sibling* would want to mess with Celestia and the gods, if that's what they're up to. The world isn't perfect as it is, but they don't have to worry about a cosmic will coming to fuck them up in daily genocide, so why would one of the twins want to fuck that up for them. If i'm close to the real plot here, I'm really curious to see what the motivations for the sibling is, and just what's so bad about the gods and archons and Celestia.
Regarding Magic vs. Tech, that's another good question. There is nothing saying that Visions aren't just extremely advanced tech that allows manipulation of elements, though. It's been proven in the game that besides Traveler and sibling, nobody in Teyvat can do anything without a vision. There's a non-zero chance that magic doesn't exist in Teyvat at all. We only know that tech and alchemy exist in various forms, so far.

At least there is some hope things taking a different direction with the reveal of some supreme being existing at the end/beyond the sea of quanta

Yea it's bad for sure, but not Honkai extermination level bad. This game has no basis for comparison for that, so it probably doesn't make sense without having also played Honkai Impact. One of those trolley problems, Teyvat version, I guess.
Also, let's not pretend that Khaenri'ah didn't design the Tillers to just go out and indiscriminately kill. They weren't exactly good guys from what we see right now either.

Not sure what you mean. The 7 were largely looked at as heroes and deities by the mass population. The statues that still remain standing in Teyvat emphasize this. There are of course various characters that don't find them all powerful and benevolent, but the consensus is that they're respected and revered. The archon war was mostly them fighting the other (worse) gods and winning.By that logic:

Your sibling doesn't say a word about your common past/common enemy/bigger evil, they only warns you about the 7 and their ways, so in their eyes 7 deserve to be destroyed.
Looked as heroes by whom? There's no survivors/witnesses left to tell the real story of 7s. Statues can be cleaned from the blood splatters too. Did you knew that soap consists of burnt fat and ashes? 1 meteorite strike can produce lots of soap ingredients, just saying...

With how salty MHY got after that last round of leaks, I doubt we'll see anything about her until the 1.5 preview video. Don't expect her kit to change a whole lot though. I don't think we've ever seen a character change mechanically from how they worked in a beta. Mostly it's just numbers or effects. JohnLee might be the only exception.

I'm digging that we can do 5 condensed resin at a time right now. I've been trying to level some weapons, and I need like half a billion of those Boreal Teeth weapon ascension materials. I've been able to just hoard Resin on days like today where there's nothing special and then blow a ton of it on Tues/Friday to get some teeth. But man I need a metric fuckton of weapon leveling ore. I've got a pretty good map marker set of the various spawn points of ore clusters right now, but it's a goddamn chore to go around and collect them. I wish mystic ore just wasn't a thing. What a waste of time when you get to an ore spawn and 5 out of 7 of the ores are mystics. I still can't believe that they even did that to us. Cheap motherfuckers.

Did my usual feedback of:
- Buff Amber (and Qiqi)
- Make Mona's underground dash a button press (more relevant since I'm actually using her now)
- Balance reactions and elements better (less pyro, more electro)
- Change Hydro team resonance. Extra healing is more worthless than any other passive.
- More pre-made team slots and faster switching between them
- More/Better rewards from events. 20 xp writs and 30 enhancement ore just isn't cutting it anymore.
- Reward scaling from leylines/bosses improvements, so we actually see some more purple/orange tier drops
- Better randomization system for dailies. Unless

finally got lucky, we still haven't seen that last Mondstadt Fatui quest. Progress I have in daily quest questlines actually go backwards too like "the unseen razor" questline and the Ba'oer treasure hoarder one. - Give us any reason to go back to Dragonspine. I don't know why those crimson wishes weren't just made permanent for extra mora/xp books/materials twice a week.
