I don't hate Genshin's designs in general. Some of them could be better, but there are some iconic designs in the game.
Kuro (Wuthering Waves devs) started out with some basic designs in Punishing Gray Raven, but their new characters are pretty great. Plus their costumes are all distinctly different and usually have new SFX, way better than Genshin's bullshit.
Anyways, I'm hopeful that the whole package for Wuthering Waves is good. I'm pretty much done with ToF, they keep going hard on content expansion and give players an absolute pittance trying to stay even (or even only slightly behind) in power curve. It feels like either you whale or you quit, so I'm about done with it.

Visually it doesn't seem as interesting as Genshin, and I think the character designs are pretty boring so far, but the dev's other game that I play has excellent combat, so I'm at least going to try it out.

I currently have 3.5 pities calculated at 80 pulls. But... eh... her gameplay is kinda cool and I lack a proper cryo DPS, but I really don't want to waste time in building another character.

I'm gonna be honest...leveling her up sucks real ass. Any leveling from Inazuma is really depressing to farm and mostly unfun boredom. Shes a pretty great character though.

Ayaka is one of the coolest characters in the game IMO. Unless you're waiting for other reruns, I don't think it'd be a mistake to pull for her. Especially with how dodgy new characters have been recently.
One downside is that you can't use her in the Blizzard Strayer domain. So if you're gonna farm that you can't even use your new character. On the upside Blizzard Strayer is strongbox-able, so you should be able to get a decent set a bit quicker.

So they just released a dev letter on the upcoming 2.4 version next week. Looks like they're making some positive changes. Not sure if it'll be enough to save the game for me personally, but they do address a lot of my complaints:
My TL;DR highights:
Not bad, but they've said they were going to be giving more F2P resources for like 4 patches in a row now and we're still getting jack shit. And most recently they have been locking the free stuff behind absolutely HORRIBLE events. I dunno if you tried to play Hide and Seek but it was a colossal waste of time. It was the first time I didn't even get all the DC and red nucs because it was not fun and took for-fucking-ever. I'm not a fan of this new race event either.
My TL;DR highights:
- Too hard to gear the new slots that have been added in Vera - New special research (trade-in shop) to get more pieces.
- Claudia/Nem/Cobalt/Frigg - not in standard banner until 2.5, but they're giving us a selector in 2.4 to pick one of them for free for doing the story/exploration
- More free DC and Red nucs
- Some sort of Matrix pity system for banner matrices.
- Newest content is too hard solo - Adjustments
- PC Controller fixes
- VIT cap up from 180 to 360 (1 login per 1-2 days will be fine now)
- Less bullshittery around time gating for new/returning players.

Same. I had a good hiding spot, hid there then just alt-tabbed away. Got the good rewards then NOPEd the fuck outta there.
Race is WAAAAAAAAAAAY worse. It's one of the worst game events I've ever seen in my life. And worst thing is... it would have been great if not for the bugs and design shortcomings, like floaty cars and instant stop when hitting a popped in monster. And let's not forget time gating. Got 3 red nucs and not sure if I'm gonna go for the red matrix too, too annoying... and also I keep forgetting the time of race start.

New survey about Windblume.
I don't get why Windblume is such a constant in this game seeing how forgettable it is. The theme is generic and boring and has nothing to do with western Europe. I live there, so I should know. Still waiting for Ludi Harpastum too. Klee talked about that in 1.0 and it's supposedly an annual festival.
I also wrote that any event without combat is boring.

I liked Ludi Harpastum the most out of Mondstadt events, then Weinlesefest probably 2nd overall. I agree that Windblume is lame, thematically. I think Genshin chose it to be their "valentines"-esque event though, so that's why we keep getting it. That poor blind girl never gets resolution of her boyfriend that's been hanging out in the bushes outside of Mondstadt to avoid disappointing her for 3 fucking years, lol. Instead we got Timeaus' bullshit story.
I like the music minigame, the picture stuff is fine, but I was really disappointed in the pacman mode. I wish it was a 2d top down view instead of just regular character control. Character movement is too sloppy and the hallways are too large to make players use any actual strategy, so you could just dodge/jump your way out of most situations.
Also, for any bros that are still with me with the Dehya disappointment, they buried a Dehya specific feedback in the "feedback" menu asking for specific notes on various parts of her kit. I encourage anybody that has a few minutes to go fill it out, this is probably the last time they'll entertain giving her buffs/fixes.

- Rhytm music mini game was way too forced and chaotic to even be fun. Easy difficulties didn't solve this
- Pacman game was boring as fuck
- Photo has an interesting idea but
ruined by forced position and demented requeriments. I though I had to found out the place for myself, which kinda look cool. But no, you are forced to reveal and to interact with the exact place
- Oh yeah the story about blowjobing the club of witch bitches
This only shows to me people inside there don't test and rellies on their stupid community for feedback. And if the community doesn't care or don't speak then theres no problem in their eyes.

Looks like you have to do the new world quest next patch (in 3.6) to participate in the new event.
Fellow slackers probably want to start working on the Jeht quest if you haven't finished it. I've been on a break from the game for a while, but I'll probably go through it this weekend. I'm not sure if it's a requirement to get the 3.6 quest, but better safe than sorry.

The idea is to empty the "bag" of available quests. I think the 2nd part with abandoning the dialogue is mostly for dailies that have multiple outcomes/choices like the one where you have to give the guy in Liyue the specialty item like 8 times. You give it, fuck up the conversation, then the commission counts it towards the achievement, but stays in the "bag".
I don't personally care enough to do this myself, but I know a few of you guys were doing achievement hunting related to daily commissions.
