I just got my first grinder, and I was wondering what you guys think about putting a coin in it to help collect kief. I've heard mixed opinions personally, so I wasn't sure.
I do it in mine, but I've always done it like that. I say do it. I don't see how it can hurt.

its best to ask what her view is on smoking in general. If she is,"I hate smoking" then its safe to say she hates all forms of it. But she might say,"I don't smoke cigarettes" you can then ask,"what about weed?" and you get your answer in a way that's not direct and you don't give yourself away to soon if she hates the MJ.

I dated a girl for like 3 or 4 weeks before asking her if she wanted to smoke with me. It's funny how many times/ways you can have sex with a person yet still feel too uncomfortable to ask her about something as stupid as cannabis. It's just that some people have been taught throughout life that weed is on the same level as heroin, and they fucking believe it.

Going to attend USC. You're probably thinking 'This guy's worried about getting weed in a college in LA? Its easy' but seriously I wouldn't know who to ask. Also, I'm Indian, and a lot of guys I'm going to hang with are going to be Indian too, and Indian grad school students aren't really into this stuff.
So I'm wondering if there's a way for me to be able to obtain it from a source without relying on college buddies, and psuedo-legally if possible. Read something about a crackdown on LA dispensaries last year.
I don't know what pseudo-legal means..but I did a quick search and it seems it differs from county to county, but you might only need a proof of residency to get one. Call up a doctor.
There are constant crackdowns, but there are so many it's not really an issue.

I just wanted to update you guys on this, and to show how awesome Magic-Flight is. I emailed them like you said (I was a bit high, so the email was a bit silly). Basically I asked them if they were planning on updating the design because I wanted to buy a new one in order to get that little pin. They asked me for a picture of the serial number, and my shipping address, and are going to send me a new one for free! I also asked if they sold draw stems, and they are going to throw a couple of those in as well!
I'd say pretty fuckin' easy? Its LA!
When I lived in LA, I had tons of friends slinging or growing their own. I have such easy access every time I head back for vacation.

Vaped last night with my brother and one of our friends. Watched Drive, which was a good movie. Those awkward silences felt like eternities! The violent parts were shocking, too.
Our friend mixed alcohol, which seemed like a bad idea. Really took him for a spin.
On the re-up I caught Billy Madison on HBO. Still a bad movie that I consider a guilty pleasure. I actually laughed at parts I usually don't laugh at.

I'm about to start a job hunt and although I live in Washington many employers still have mandatory drug tests before hiring. I usually smoke at night right before bed taking two hits from a little one-hitter. How long do you all think it'll take before this stuff doesn't show up on a piss test? I'm 5' 10" and about 200 lbs.

Found a smoke shop in LA that sold me a mid size bong w/ a perculator and ash-catcher for only $50!!! I'm sure the glass is a little thin, but it certainly does the trick.

It seems like lots of people are jumping on board with the MFLB. A beautiful thing indeed.
For such a little device it really has improved my experiences. Sometimes getting others to try it and "get it" is tough because there's a slight learning curve, but as someone who's worked in his technique a bit, I can definitely say that it's become much easier to get a lot out of a single draw. Very efficient. Three good hits (maybe even two) and I'm soaring. Magic flight!
The onset of effects is more gradual than smoke (which seems to "punch you in the face"), but when it hits you, it hits you. One of my friends was really curious so I let him try it out. The guy is pretty much a daily smoker. He took a couple of draws and didn't think he was doing it right, but then he started tripping over his words.
The MFLB was a wonderful investment.
So I've been using the MFLB for a couple days now and I must say, I love it. I'm glad I watched some tutorial videos before it got here. Now I'm pulling like a pro off this thing.
One quick question, do you guys save your vaped weed? I've heard you can smoke it and I do go through dry spells sometimes. Is it worth it to put that stuff in a bag and set it aside?

I do. Some of it is really dark, which can probably be thrown away. But if you go through a dry I spell then you can pull out some brownish/greenish discards and they may be good enough. Honestly, vaping makes the stuff last a lot longer than burning. I'm surprised at how long a single trench lasts. Obviously used stuff isn't as good, but it's there. Can be used for edibles too, if it hasn't been completely spent. I'm not into cooking with the product, though.
Like two weeks, but it depends on how active you are and whatnot because the THC is stored in fat. You can buy a drug test kit from Walmart yourself if you're nervous about it.

Smoking bungo (which is the word my friend made up to call the stuff left over from vaporizing) is so gross. I've had points where I was really desperate, and even then it wasn't worth it and afterwards I was embarrassed that I resorted to it. Cooking with it is less demoralizing and more effective ime.
I'm been dankrupt for like 2 weeks now. The guy my guy gets stuff from still hasn't re-upped, and I'm dying here. And to make it worse, my new bowl (my first one ever) came in 2 days ago, and is just sitting unused.

wtf is bungo lol. it's ABV, already been vaped. I don't understand why it's demoralizing. Smoking ABV is one of the benefits of using a vape. If you want to think of yourself like some kind of drug addict who's digging through trash for his next high then go ahead, but there's no reason to. You wouldn't just throw away a half-smoked bowl would you? Same thing.

It tastes not good at all, and the volume of it you have to smoke to achieve the expected effect is too much. It's like smoking really poor quality weed only I've never actually smoked weed as bad as it, so idk.
I think the benefits of a vaporizer are the high efficiency (even with doing nothing with the leftovers it goes like twice as far) and the taste/aesthetic and health things. Leftovers are like incidental, imo.

I've never had the opportunity to smoke ABV but I can't imagine it's as bad as smoking resin. That's black tar marijuana right there.

I would actually rather smoke resin, personally. It's an awful experience but it somehow ends up being more satisfying (though still not actually satisfying).
