Well guys I have an update regarding my court case that was today.
To recap and make a long story short:
I was recently charged with possession of under an ounce in Georgia (It was less than a gram and it wasn't even on me. My friend who was near me had it on him) and I recently moved to California. My lawyer represented me in court.
Anyway, my lawyer called me today regarding my punishment. I have to go to a drug and alcohol evaluation to determine whether I am a drug addict, I have to attend a MADD seminar, I have to do 50 hours community service, pay 400 dollars in court fees, and I have to take 3 drug tests separated 30 days apart. I did the calculations and found out that the soonest I can smoke again is the second week of April.
And the lawyer knows the prosecutor so this is the best that he could get for me. I think it could have potentially been worse.
Shit sucks man.
Hang in there. The bright side (if there is one) is that, it is going to be one hell of a T-break.
Your tolerance will be amazingly low.
