No, it's a a vazporizer. Put ground herb in, put the battery into the hole on the side and your ready to vape in 5-10 seconds. One of the benefits of a vaporizer is odor pretty much just dissipates. I vape 24/7 virtually and It doesn't really "stink" up the place, the odor just dissipates.
