you could scoop a creatine-based pre-workout like C4 or something that could make a much bigger difference in your workout. i don't know why you would want to numb the pain you feel when you're lifting. it's integral to understanding your limits and identifying any rising injuries.
ephedrine and caffeine isn't such a bad combo. but if you can't go in there and focus without smoking, then you're not taking enough ephedrine/caffeine and you're pretty much wasting weed. smoke when you get home to increase your appetite so that you consume more than a lone protein shake during the anabolic window.
It's more of i like to do stuff when i'm baked man, with the ephedrine/caffeine my weed highs are nice and clear with plenty of energy to do stuff but not enough to like jog or anything like that.
