Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Beta Thread of key begging

Are you trying to spawn on a dead teammate or one near an objective?

Doesn't seem to matter which I choose, it just stays on the "Spawning" prompt and never lets me in the game, along with locking all of my buttons. I can see things going on in the map and the timer is going down, so it hasn't frozen, although I guess it might as well have.

I'm enjoying it. Feels like a slower paced TPS (in comparison to more recent ones), and it rewards awareness of the map I think.

Running fine on PS3 here.

im redownloading to see if that helps.

Don't forget Metal Gear Online.

What about it in particular was making you giddy so quickly?

3rd person
perfect health level
non laser guns
weapon mods
both factions are cool
character customization without rainbow colored soldiers
basic gameplay is cool(hard to describe)

my only problems were(besides beta problems)

so much is locked
no females
don't know about other maps

Codes sent! I won't get to try it myself till I get off work, but I've been looking forward to this it better not suck.

The movement feels way too loose and the frame rate is very unstable. Some nice ideas but that alone might be enough for me to not care.

Really enjoying it, although the framerate is a bit shite, and I'm not really sure why. Looks sub HD and the effects aren't particularly mind blowing.

Game itself is fairly enjoyable when everything's going well. Very tactical, although with that comes an inherent frustration when paired with inept teammates who couldn't capture an objective when it's literally in front of them. I saw a teammate on Pipeline a metre above an objective and not bother to kill the enemy who was capturing it. Safe to say, I left.

The gun customisation is expansive to a daunting degree. There's so many options to upgrade that it becomes a bit difficult to know what's the best path to go down. Every single point you spend is a real conundrum.

I wish this was a bit further out, so I thought they'd have time to fix the poor framerate and the odd hit detection error that I've seen. But regardless, depending on whether my friends buy it, I will too.

It's definitely what I wanted next-gen Socom to be, and it's miles ahead of GRAW multiplayer, which I always found to be a bit shit.

You can auto mod your guns

You can auto mod your guns

I saw that, down the four paths? Well I saw the option but I didn't know it was auto-mod, seems a good option, although the perfectionist in me will probably want to do it manually. You can do it down four paths right? Maneuverability, Range, Power and something else.

Are the people commenting on the framerate playing on 360?

I'm on PS3 and haven't seen any issues. Maybe it's lag related,
Yes, I am.

It's not all the time, but when bullets start flying and there's a few people on screen there are noticeable drops. It's not horrible, and some people certainly wouldn't notice, but I do. I thought the game was 60fps?

Maybe it's because of some insane lag or bad netcode but unloading a full clip in an enemy without him dying is not fun. :(

I wouldn't say it's an 'issue'... seems it is running at sub-30fps by design. Just awful.

It can get really ugly depending on your location on the map.

Also noticed texture pop-in and netcode issues, like pumping bullets into someone until finally the enemy killed message appears. Feels half-baked at this point. I wonder from when this build is.

The actual gameplay seems to be alright. More tactical then I expected I guess.

Got in a game (ps3) and first thing that popped in my mind regarding the visuals was "hey at least it's vsynced!"

Framerate is a solid 30 though but looks very much subhd

Gotta play more to form an opinion on the actual gameplay but it feels good to have ghost recon back man

I have an idea...

Let's make a map in the forest. Trees everywhere.

...but let's not allow players take cover behind those trees.

Sounds good, eh?

I'm surprised that I am enjoying this.
I didn't really care to pay attention to news about the game but figured 'Hey, I have my SC disc. I'll try it.'
Really digging it.
