The first Ghost Rider was really boring on top of being bad, I hope this one has more fun with it.

Why? All of their movies have been mediocre.

I wouldn't say mediocre, more just competent. They are exciting the first time you see them, but don't hold up to repeat viewings. I hope that doesn't happen to Thor or Captain America, because I really enjoyed those.

This should get more praise for how much action takes place in broad daylight. I guess part of his lore is the nighttime curse shared with vampires, werewolves, etc. Neveldine/Taylor are throwing that for cinematic purposes and I applaud that.

Thinking on it, Ghost Rider works better as a reverse slasher movie villain. He doesn't need a bad guy per se - just bastards that need dying. Looking forward to this.

Also appreciate the crazy scream - I always figured that as part of the character, don't know why but it always made sense to me. Clearly it makes sense to the directors too.

The only reason this movie exists is because Sony didn't want to lose the licence. It was never made for the right reasons.
