Or am I missing something?
It's ultra-hard. I'm quite good at games. This kicked my arse though.
A few points:
The gun is amazing - three inputs.
The DX cab is also beautiful.
The IC Card for data storage is the best yet. On the reverse it has a Special Code Number."
But this number is not any number: "Please keep this number within yourself!" implores Sega. Hmm.. Skin-graft?

Anyway, I found GS to be too hard and require too much speed reading. But being a blind Sega fan, I declare it the greatest ever lightgun game ever. Ever.

Best lightgun game? Perhaps! It made me a Sega fanboy again. The machine at the local arcades doesn't have the card version though, doh

The game is pretty hard though, and it shows that my aim sucks when it comes to those sniping parts. I think it's just the gun though, it's too big for me and I suck at aiming with it.

Mate. The machine doesn't vend cards, you have to buy them from the operator. They're nice, thick, like VFNET cards as oposed to the skinny ones used for Initial D/F-Zero AC/DOC. Make sure they don't have them hidden away!
:)

I didn't see a lot where you put the cards in though. Isn't it on the front? I checked and I saw no slots!

I've never used those card thingys anyway so I'm not sure how they work. I don't go to the arcades much :P

Where is the Ghost Squad machine located at? I'm coming up to the Bay Area for New Years and want to go experience it for myself

(And if I can find a VF: Final Tuned anywhere, I will be most pleased as well :D)

Yep, it's on the front but built into the cabinet, not the little units Sega bolts on to cabs.
The card lets you do the usual (rather girly) stuff, like dressing up, but also stores items, new weapons and whatnot, as well as progress. :)

Is this the one in the Trocadero? I was there a couple of nights back and played the game then, it was awesome :D I liked the weight of the guns too, they're much better than the usual crappy lightguns.

I like how you can change the difficulty on this game when you select your mission. Four selectable difficulties I think. Not sure what's different about the difficulty

Got to the 3rd mission on 1 credit today, woo. Shot that boss in the face on the 2nd level :D
