I used to like this day. Reddit has made me absolutely despise it. Reddit is usually annoying but for fuck's sake it becomes absolutely intolerable on April 1st.

And one thing I find even more insufferable given the internet is that it lasts like several fucking days now.

Technically it started over 24 hours ago if you're in say, New Zealand, and will continue for another 20 hours or so if you're in American Samoa.

Nah, seemed to me that Brad said on the Bombcast that he loved that it got made and was good for the people who really like those game, but probably wouldn't play it himself because he isn't one of those people. Which is fair enough. PoE doesn't stand a chance during GOTY, but I doubt anyone expects that it will.

BTW Axiom Verge is the mf'ing truth. Pillars, AV, Bloodborne... three legit GotY contenders right on top of each other.

I've got Hotline Miami 2 and Ori pegged higher than these on my list.

Axiom as #1? I think that Witcher 3 and Metal Gear will have to either flop or be extremely divisive for that to happen. I could see Axiom taking ALBW's "yo this game is fantastic and we all love it but it's not quite doing enough to be GotY" #2 spot.
