For such a good soldier Snake sure gets caught a lot. Is this the 4th or 5th time he's gotten wrecked by the Boss?

They're trying to establish that Boss > Snake.

Maybe live streamed? Or maybe they're ditching that idea for goodsies.
Excited for Drew and anyone else who doesn't know what we're getting into. The final hour or two of MGS3 is as high-octane, action-packed, and just darn awesome as damn near anything else in video games, and it's capped off with a really well-done ending cutscene.

I think they decided to ditch the live finale idea after it took Drew so long for the first game. Totally agree with you on the last few hours of MGS 3, it's phenomenal.

Will Drew shed a tear? Will Dan? Will I?

Just another 2-3 episodes and Drew should be finished if I'm remembering the end of the game correctly.

There aren't a ton of good places to stop with what's left. I figure...

Volgin fight, Base escape, Shagohod fights, Last bike chase
in one pretty long episode, and

Escort mission, The Boss, and ending
for a finale. Maybe live streamed? Or maybe they're ditching that idea for goodsies.

What happens in an Unplugged episode of Dungeons & Dragons? Do they follow a story line or do they try to figure out how everything works?

And the series has hit a new low...

I just bought that game Rorie played on UPF, Please Don't Touch Anything.

It's really short (I beat it in ~1 hour), but its pretty darn clever the whole way through. Worth the five bucks, in my opinion.

Watched the DnD stuff and either Rorie isn't cut out for being DM or the campaign they're running isn't the best.

I know they're beginners, but DnD's strength is just people doing hokey shit and, y'know, roleplaying. They should do campaigns that really have you talking with people and getting to make weird and out-of-the-box choices all while the DM is creative and flexible enough to push back and keep the campaign going.

DnD isn't some weird talking combat system, it's roleplaying and having weird adventures and encounters. There's a reason why the best segment of the episode today was when they finally stopped just straight fighting mobs and got to make hokey decisions.

A DnD session really lives and dies by the DM, and while everyone has to start somewhere, I really wish they could find someone that has a fair bit of experience to let them really flex their roleplaying muscles and do silly wrestling shit like Dan did today.

The campaign was excellent on the Adventure Zone podcast so it ain't that.

Rorie is just bad at it.

They should try to get an experienced, good DM come in and do a short adventure with them or something to show it can actually be quite fun.

The Playstation Home video was some of the most entertaining content I've seen on GB in a good while.
I also find it kind of beautiful how, by the end, they all seemed a bit sad that Home would be gone.

Home to me was always some weird thing that I was glad existed, but was never interested in "playing" myself. But it seems like a lot of people still used it as a chatroom until the bitter end, so it always had an audience. I agree with Rorie in that I wouldn't be surprised if they brought something like Home to the PS4 when they launch Morpheus, it would be surprising if Sony launched VR without some "virtual world" like that.

Man, they ended were it gets good.

I hope they dont take too long to upload the next one.

I hope they just say fuck it and make it all the way to the end.

Hell, the MGS1 finale episode was 3 hours long.

Thinking of testing our live stream capabilities with a bit of this today. Hope everyone likes color correction.

Also, crazy prediction here:

The Vinny stream will not be as good as people are hoping. Way too much hype for it to be able to live up to it.
