Power Stone and Smash Bros are very much fighting games =/
Because it came out in a year where there were 20 better fighting games, it was on a system nobody cared about and it's mediocre.
I was too busy playing Smash Bros which came out about a month prior.
Yes, they are "fighting" games.Power Stone and Smash Bros are very much fighting games =/
So weird, never usually have any problems but it keeps stop/starting. Having to go to awful SD quality.
Ran a speedtest and I'm getting 72meg as well so I am super confused.
Is it strange that the only fighting game I own is BlazBlue Calamity Trigger?
very
I thought it was pretty rad. But it will also be the only fighting game I ever purchase.

I still don't think that qualifies Smash Brothers...

correction: two or more.
If you're fighting it's a fighting game. Genres are already super broad, it's not a big deal.

It's weird to see Giant Bomb dump on non-standard fighting games but laud novelty fighting games like Mortal Kombat II and Divekick as exemplars of the genre.
Salty Bet, all night
Halo is my favorite fighting game.
Disagree. Boxing and MMA games are sports sims (at least in general), not fighting games. Both are centered around 1v1 fighting of some sort, but are not fighting games.
OK for real, I was broad as fuck there, but honestly I feel like it applies. Unless it obviously, OBVIOUSLY is some other genre (like an FPS), that could well be a fighting game.
Like Catherine.
I get Divekick, but I don't know what you mean with MK2.
You're a silly thing.
I hope they play a Smash Bros. game for Ranking of the Fighters so it can be the worst fighting game of all time for the entire run of the series.
