I really worry about this. Sony keeps showing stuff like that and say it's on PSVR, and it's a lie. Same with how Microsoft is showing hololens.

I couldn't tell enough about how boring it is to watch VR demos without being in VR.
Yeah, I got that. I just think "The Journey" is now a pretty compromised subtitle after the Fable game that was supposed to show off another allegedly revolutionary gaming peripheral.
It sure seems like PSVR could (will) be heavily limited by the hardware and sony should be really concerned about that.

Yeah, I think they found a pretty good solution for PR. Don't know why Jeff thinks it's terrible.I love those VR reaction faces, it's great solution for TV ads.

Nah. Major studios wil experiment with it, but not do that much. Indies will do some cool stuff, but VR won't be a big deal for many years if it even does take off.

Yep. People are seeing Oculus/Vive footage (from SLI Titan machines) and thinking a PS4 is going to render that on PSVR are going to be really disappointed.

That's something that VR is going to have to tackle. PC VR side is going to gain a high end reputation only due to the price and PSVR won't be all that capable.

I imagine you'll be the camera watching the fight as if you were a member of the audience. Could be a super cool demo, but I doubt anyone actually will want to play the game that way.

It's definitely a problem for both VR/AR. I understand the need to embellish a bit when your demo might look underwhelming on a normal screen, but there has to be better ways to get your message across rather than setting expectations way too high.

I really hope that's what they're going for. The problem is, the thing you neeeever do in VR is move the player's head without them actually moving it themselves. Seems like a fighting game would absolutely necessitate that.
Eh. Who's going to put a headset on just to watch a fight replay. I also imagine the fact they can't really rotate the camera around as fast due to motion sickness issues will limit the information you can get out of it.
No one realized it. That's why it sold like 2 million copies instead of the normal 10 million for a GT game.
Not long after 5, used the same engine.
