I'm excited to see Morrowind tagged in the Ryckertcast, but pre-emptively nervous it'll be talked about derisively. Dan doesn't seem like a Morrowind kinda guy.

Does anyone else avoid Dan-centric podcasts? I like him but I don't think I can handle that much Ryckert.

I listened to the first few Danswers before deciding I couldn't do it anymore.

Why walk when you can be a normal cool guy?

they were so good and long, though (not that i'm crazy about long podcasts, maybe it's 'cause i was listening while playing hyrule warriors)

one of them had 'porn groove' set as genre tag

To be honest, I avoid almost all of the podcasts where I know I'll be getting zero games talk. Giant Bomb is my absolute favorite site, I'm premium and I devour the content. But I love those guys because they share the same passion as me, I don't hold them to such high esteem that I'd spend two hours of them just talking to their family members, that almost just seems odd to me.

Holy shit, that's amazing.

Who knows what they thought, maybe the think Dan is Colonel Sanders son.

This Ryckert podcast is so personal. I might not be able to finish.

Good to hear, I'm the opposite when it comes to this stuff. It just feels that they are a family who knows how to have fun and have this welcoming feeling to them, they would probably invite all GB fans if they lived in a castle. It's great, it ain't like you're stalking them so, I don't know what you guys are on about.

For a long time I've wanted something where Vinny tries to understand all the weird Elder Scrolls stuff.

Despite my many attempts to understand it, I still don't know what "C0DA" is all about. It's, like, a sci-fi graphic novel version of Tamriel? That's also some sort of collaborative canon? And c0da is not the same as C0DA?

Remember that sidequest in Oblivion where this happened?

I may be off base here, but isn't CHIM some fancy meta-explanation for a player character respawning in TES games?

That's a part of it.

It also explains how games with multiple branching paths are all simultaneously canon and part of the same universe and timeline, and why certain individuals act the way they do.

I like the Danswers/Ryckertcasts. I enjoy GB for the personalities more than the games although I enjoy that too as it's what brings them all together. Anything that can flesh out these "characters" more is cool with me. Jeff's Mixlr drives get me through work. Even when it's just him listening to music. You never know what's going to come up.

Yeah, the deep-end crazy stuff is by far the coolest thing about the ES games being stories told in games. It's also the main thing that Dan would scoff at and go "Baah, that's all dumb. You just need to be a cool guy shouting at dragons."
