Dan spent like $100 at Taco Bell and then probably ended up throwing half of it away. I think throwing a few bucks at the chance of winning millions of dollars isn't that dumb.
ah, happy they're giving this some exposure. great game even tho it wasn't as good as previous two installments.

Jeremy is a nice guy and I enjoy hearing what he has to say, but he's no Gary.
Patrick Norton is insufferable though. He might be the reason I stop listening to the Tested podcast completely.

I just found out I've been paying for crunchyroll premium for months, I tried a free trial like, almost a year ago at this point. So I assumed that I just forgot to cancel my trial like an idiot, but according to my account, I'm not even a premium member, and I can't actually watch videos on the site. So I've been paying for literally nothing.

o man, the old WANG cast was great. And yeah, I have been only listening to Tested on and off this past year (too much VR and Drone talk and without Gary it seemed like that was all they talked about) and now that Will's gone, I don't even bother downloading it anymore
excellent. might be worth watching.
so glad jeff green is still regularly streaming even though i don't watch any of it cos i might conceivably one day play bloodbourne

So I figured I might ask in here because a lot of people here have been playing MGS5 and the OT seems pretty slow. I'm just starting my game on PS4 -- what can I do to make my playthrough minimally disturbed by microtransactions, FOB shenanigans and other nonsense? I read someone saying that you can bypass all of that by simply declining the online TOS, is that true?
That segment was the best.

I understand playing the lottery for fun but I don't understand why some people only do it when the prize gets huge. I mean "fuck yeah one billion dollars" sure but "only $800 million? lol, not worth my time".
Also US gambling laws are weird across the board. Betting on sports is bad so it is illegal - unless you bet in a couple of cities or states that are licenced, in which case it is cool.
Reminds me of that defence against pornography thing where if you pay someone to have sex it is prostitution but if you film it then it is a legit commercial enterprise.
Vinny brought the game up during GOTY. Way later in the holidays Brad was talking about doing a QL with "the new cross coast setup". Seems they got it going.

Because that way, you end up only spending at most about $20 a year on the lottery instead of hundreds.
As it is, I consider any money spent on lottery tickets as entertainment expenses, as it's a ticket to freely daydream about what I'd do if I won. It's much more enjoyable to daydream when the amounts get ridiculous.
