The only thing holding back HM2 from winning is that none of the duders except Alex liked the first game so it wasn't much of a disappointment for any of them.
If this was last year itd be a shooin but its a year where jeff loved a lot of games, and its not like his love for Proteus automatically got it onto the list in 2013. I think his main fights are gonna be elsewhere
I'm not saying it makes it, I'm just saying don't completely write it off yet. It's certainly a bigger contender than Ori.

Going to look for anything other than TftB on IMDB taught me that Nolan played Marco Polo in a new Peabody and Sherman show this year. That's a cute callback.
But yeah, Tales. Voice direction and performances were on fucking point in that game.

If there was any way for TftB to win a award this year, this would be the one.
I dunno though, he did become the new Ghost in Destiny.
I wish more of the crew checked that one out in their pre-GOTY stuff. I was so sad hearing variations on "I've heard it's great even if you don't like Borderlands, but I also don't like Borderlands so I don't care". It's not that long, so it would've been worth at least looking at.
I'm gonna guess Witcher 3 makes it on. They all played it, all but Jeff liked it, and even he hasn't gone back since the major patches so he might recuse himself from that.
I don't necessarily think they'd let a community pushing it on them to play more would make them punish the game itself.
