probably because it's not particularly open world. people complained about that in Mafia 2 but I think it actually made that game stronger

Out of curiosity I checked the full PSVR list and a bunch of third party games are timed exclusives. Now Oculus is announcing a bunch of exclusives. You'd think with the fledgling VR platform all the players would work to make VR viable before hunkering down like this. And Oculus in particular requires additional $200 controllers for some of its games.

I kinda like it more than Grow Home (which I really liked). I'm not sure I spent a lot of time climbing though, most of the time I was just flying which was also fun (arguably even more fun)
