That game is not good. It's like they learned a lot of the right lessons and then ruined the game with the open world.
I thought I would finish Ratchet & Clank today, but instead I played a lot more Hitman. It's a great game you guys.
Lorne Lanning is also a super nice guy who I could listen to all day long. Always look forward to him showing up on a podcast.
It's a crime my yearly Lorne Lanning fix is for an hour on the GB E3 aftershow. Dude is engaging as fuck

Firewatch is easily one of my favorite games of the year. Can't wait to see what Campo Santo does next.
I only move on from a map once I get to level 20. I wish I had bought in since the start but this is my way to try and emulate the experience.

Mario Maker for game of the year is the best decision Giant Bomb made since that time Vinny decided to dive into the internet to pull out a Euro Truck mod.
The Mario Maker video is good unlike that Overcooked one. Expecting they Gears video tomorrow to be another bummer.

Is doom worth playing on console? I liked the demo but I could tell that duel analogue was going to hurt the game once it really ramped up (my fingers were already slipping off from constant full tilt use). In the other hand, I will most likely never own a gaming PC so it's console or nothing.
He also gave GB the best game dev story ever revealed on the night show - how they saved Munch's budget by releasing the first ever 'gameplay' ps2 footage.

I'm really enjoying this year's videos, way more than the skits. Don't get me wrong, I liked the skits but these have been really enjoyable. Not often we get cross coast #content

Finally got back to Titanfall 2 today, and just reached That Moment... I had somehow remained unspoiled and genuinely didn't expect it to be as cool as people made it out to be, but yeah, as soon as it starts to hint at what is going to be happening I got the biggest fucking grin on my face. It's so awesome.
Holy shit do I hope they get to make a Titanfall 3. If this is the kind of campaign they make when they cobble together a bunch of cool ideas they thought of after scrapping a more "traditional" campaign, just imagine how good it could be if they approach it from this mindset from the get-go.
As much as I liked seeing what weird shit the guys came up with for the skits, I'm definitely on board with these videos, kind of a "best hits" of the most fun stuff they've done over the last year.
