Badly designed tbh. The boss fights are fun but every time you die (and you will die a lot) the game forces you to run back to the boss through an completely empty and boring area. Imagine if in Dark Souls you had to run to the boss but there were no enemies around. It's onle 20-30 seconds but that adds up quickly. I don't know why that is and I didn't finish the game because of it. The actual boss fights are pretty fun though
